What is Maven, and why is it redirecting me?
This is getting REALLY annoying. I try to log into the earnings page, and when I click on BALANCE HISTORY, I get the secret security question. When I answer it, it takes me to MAVEN...?... WHY? I don't understand why it keeps taking me there. I don't know what it is or how to get rid of it. I have to try several times to get into BALANCE HISTORY, and then it will finally work, and let me in. Am I getting hacked or something?
Is it possible that you are one of the people who has been selected to write for Maven?
My balance history looks and works as usual... I wonder if your account has somehow been changed as part of a test run or by mistake. Not sure if writers that are offered a Maven channel get their earning on HP also linked to Maven. I was under the impression that the two things were going to be independent, but what do I know?
Anyway, Maven acquired HP a few months back and things are slowly changing and transitioning. Some features seem to get activated for a limited number of accounts at first, for an initial test run. Maybe this is one of them. I would contact the HP staff and ask for clarifications.
I tried it and that didn't happen to me. Try it again and see if it happens again.
It's been happening to me almost every time I try to log in to Balance History. Every time...like for the past month. I wan't active much before then, so the potential issue may have been there, but I'm only seeing it now because I'm active again.
Have you cleared your browser history/cache?
All is well. I reported it and it was an internal issue, which has now been fixed. Yeah!
Maven is the company that has acquired HubPages. That doesn't explain why the Balance History link isn't working properly, though. That sounds like a glitch. A member of the HubPages team will probably have to help you.
my balance history is working too. Hubpages has been taken over already by someone else???

Hello, everyone! As many of you know, HubPages is now a part of Maven. Maven is a unified, shared publishing platform for three types of media publishers: individual experts (like our Hubbers), small publishers with community backing, and flagship brands (like TheStreet, History.com, and Sports...

Will they still be allowed to continue writing for the niche sites or will this site be diluted as our best writers and their work leave for a better deal?

Well I hope not of course, but when I started writing on Hubpages years ago there were a lot of writers and a lot of encouragement. These days I know Matt pops in now and again but otherwise it's a bit of a closed door and CPM for the last few weeks at approximately $1.50 seems to be about half of...

Is it true that the 60/40 model only applies after HubPages pays their expenses? Because I have expenses too... I don't see why we should suffer because HubPages wants 40% to be pure profit AFTER their expenses.

Since the day I posted my first article upon returning to write here, my income steadily and significantly rose with each piece posted, and right before Black Friday, was over six times what I was earning while letting old posts gather dust. Even what I was earning after posting a significant...
