I noticed this happening last night, and it's doing it again today.
When I try to open one of my articles on Feltmagnet my site advisor software warns me that it may be very risky to visit.
Why is this happening?
Not sure about other niche sites.
Anyone else seeing this?
The warning from McAfee is a false positive. HubPages and the Network Sites are safe. You can check safe browsing site status using this tool from Google: https://transparencyreport.google.com/s … ing/search
Matt, This is all fine and dandy, but the problem still remains that McAfee is blocking all their users from HubPages. This is a serious thing. Is there any way staff can communicate with the proper personnel at McAfee and get this straightened out?
Others says it's only happening to FeltMagnet, but I have seen a 24% drop in traffic across all niche sites since this began. Branden said that there may be other reasons for the drop in addition to McAfee. But it needs to be checked out in my opinion.
Agreed Glenn, we may know the site is safe, but presumably anyone using McAfee does not, and I doubt anyone is going to take the time to check the status using a google tool. Hopefully it's being checked out and can be fixed.
I've reported this issue to McAfee. The anonymizer warning is clearly a false positive. This issue should be resolved soon.
Yay, the problem has disappeared! Thank you!!!
Matt has reported it, but Glenn, if it were this issue only Feltmagnet would be affected, not the other niche sites. Also, the drop coincides perfectly with a Google update. Also, as I pointed in some other post, this is an important issue that needed to be fixed too, not saying it isn't.
Thanks for that additional information, Brandon.
I'm sorry Matt but that is not really helpful, like Glenn and Glimmer said it doesn't matter if we know it is safe, it is still going to stop people going there and if possible something needs to be done.
Ditto here.
I would never click "accept the risk" to see a site with that kind of warning, especially if I found it on a google search. I would just click back and move on another sites.
Why does only Feltmagnet come up as "Website category: Anonymizers" and the other niche sites don't?
You should take a look at this thread

Thank you DrMark, it's exactly the same problem, I did not see it before posting. I hope it gets resolved soon.

I already have a number of hubs moved to the Hubpages network sites, but haven't really seen a drastic traffic change in said hubs. So, is it worth the risk to submit one of my hubs that already receives a decent amount of daily views to a vertical site?I'd hate to see aforementioned hub drop in...

Since HubPages is changing their focus to feeding their new niche sites, where will you be moving your hubs that don't fit the new sites?I highly doubt they'll make any new sites that have anything to do with any of the topics I write on the way I write on them so I'll likely need new homes for all...

Hi everyone,Since Google's updates these past couple of months, I've noticed a significant traffic drop (about 20%). Every time I gain some traction and hope, it's a case of going back two steps again. I'm sure I'm not alone! I thought it might be a good idea to start a healthy discussion here to...

I have been thinking of leaving HubPages for a while now because of several reasons. With their latest ebay/amazon update I now have to reformat over 90 hubs (Some had not been published yet and I was waiting for Halloween). Rather than doing this I will use my time looking for a site and...

So, I've had a hub unpublished due to HP claiming that it's overly promotional. The hub only has 2 outbound links ( which is the number of links we're allowed to put for the other external sites ) this is the only thing that I'm having in my hub. There is also NO amazon products or Ebay or...
