Here are the rules:  Post a short snippet of a line from a song, and players have to name the movie or play it came from.

FIRST correct answer (per the poster of the song), gets to post the next one.

    I'll start:

"When Eddy said he didn't like his teddy..."

Correct!  Now it's your turn, Brave Warrior...pick and post a snippet from a movie musical or stage show of your choice...

And, the First one to get the correct answer--according to YOU...gets to post the next.

          "Trouble, oh we got trouble,
          Right here in River City!
          With a capital "T"
          That rhymes with "P"
          And that stands for Pool,
          That stands for pool."

The Music Man, thinking Danny Kay?

The Music Man is correct. However, Robert Preston, as fake Professor Harold Hill, sang the song in the movie. You're still the winner, snakeslane!

              You're up!

I'm a woman's man, no time to talk"

Brave Warrior got it - Next one?

    1. DzyMsLizzy profile image85
DzyMsLizzyposted 5 years agoin reply to this

Yes, she did, but the rules state it must be the poster of the snippet that awards the chance to post next.

As an added thought--extra bragging rights if you can also name the character who sang the song!  ;-)  (But no penalty if you don't know, and don't mention any character)

I don't know, and I didn't google it. But it has an Elton John feel to it so I'm going to say Lion King (did he even write a song for that?)

I would guess you could put in an opera, but you have to win first.

Actually, I went to a performing arts high school.  There weren't a lot of musicals we didn't do all or part of over the course of the four years.
