      Hi there,

      As with your other article, this is essentially a blog post. While some personal material is a good thing, it's possible to over-use it.

      Maybe spend a little time at the Learning Center? Click on Help, top right of any page, to navigate there.

    Hi Amrutha! I like your story a lot, many young women share your initial views on cooking and could relate to your personal anecdotes.

    That being said, personal essays aren't the kind of pieces Hubpages likes to publish or, more importantly, accept on a niche site. Hubpages likes articles that educate or answer a question that potential readers may have. Personal essay types like what you have written, though entertaining and uniquely voiced aren't likely to succeed.

    If you were to rework it into something like '10 Reasons Why Cooking Isn't Anti-Feminist' or 'How to Learn to Cook' then you would have an article that answers a question or teaches something and be more likely to pass QAP. I would also suggest that you learn more about the craft of writing. Grammar and sentence construction are a good starting point.
