There are racial/ethnic groups that preach & have a culture which emphasizes failure & negativity while there are racial/ethnic groups that preach & have a culture which emphasizes success & positivity. Your thoughts. Is the particular cultural paradigm societally enforced through oppression or it is taught by the particular racial/ethnic group itself? Why are some racial/ethnic groups are consistently at the bottom while other racial/ethnic groups are at or near the top?-

Asian students, for instance, are successful in school because of cultural habits of respecting education, teachers, and achieving excellent grades (at all costs.) But would I call them successful at being happy? at enjoying life? at being warm and friendly?
... of course, painting with a broad brush is not fair,
because the world is full of wonderfully happy Asians.
Exactly, Asian parents emphasize the correlation between education & a successful lifestyle. No matter how poor Asians are, they want their children to supersede them educationally & socioeconomically. Jewish people also teach their children the ultimate importance to being educated & socioeconomically successful. Black Caribbeans & Africans do the exact same thing- they want their children to be better off than they were. These cultures imbue positivity & being proactive regarding their children. Cubans do the same thing to their children.

“If we want to reach real peace in this world, we should start educating children.”- Mahatma Gandhi
“My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.” – Mahatma Gandhi
