Wrong-Evil-Injustice-Wickedness- What to do? Why? When?

   When you personally see this happening right in front of you and it is in your power to do something, then what do you do and why?
   I have no story here, no scenario, just in general.
   Are you afraid and do nothing or do you do what you can?
   Does it matter to you if it is a child, the elderly, male, female?
   Or are you different if your family is the victim or offender?
   Are you a just person and stop wrongdoing anytime and anywhere you see it?
   
   Do you just blame and walk on past like it's not your business?

      you asked for "no story, no scenario" but that's what i must use to explain my position. i have personally witnessed people right in front of me hurting someone who couldn't defend themselves (a child or an animal) and i stepped in without hesitation. that doesn't make me a hero...just human. most people would step in and not turn away if they witnessed a helpless animal or child having "Wrong-Evil-Injustice-Wickedness" inflicted upon them. why do you ask?

         I fixed it because I mean "I have no story"...left it up to everyone to tell their own.
         
         My reason for asking is to find out what people think or what they will do because I see a lot of blaming going on about the subject.
         
         The people who complain, often do nothing if they see it.

      If it happens right in front of me I do all I can to stop it and do not think twice about it.
      If I see others standing there doing nothing I scold them for being cowards!!!

   I think that if someone witnesses something like the topic says and they do nothing, they should be accountable for negligence.
   
   Personally, I always do what I can, no question and no doubt!!

   i haven't seen that. i have seen (and expressed myself) a failure to understand God's apparent apathy. but we've been over this lots and no one's views shift, so that's all good, i guess.

         so why do you ask?do you think God can't do anything to stop wrong, evil, etc. or he doesn't interfere out of love maybe because he is trying to let us get it right?
         
         i have been thinking about this over the last few days...i think i might finally be getting it...when my son was very young, he had to learn to tie his shoes, and learn to walk, and ride a bike...and get along with other children...many times i wanted to intervene and help him along but i knew he had to do it himself...and i knew he felt good accomplishing things on his own and grew from each accomplishment. is that what you guys are trying to say, that God doesn't intervene because he loves his children?
         
         i do have to say though if i ever saw him strike another child, i would step in and stop that, although he never did...

            I've had to fight for someone who was being beaten badly. It was horrible and I wished I'd been there sooner. There was noway I was going to let that continue, I was very scared. I thought I was stupid ,I could've been killed. After it was over I questioned myself and I came to the conclusion that I'd rather die a fighter than have to live with the thought I was a coward. Thats why I think we have fighters and some people aren't. Let the fighters fight if you interfere you could make a serious situation worse. At least if the fights on stay out of the way so your fighters can concentrate and protect themselves.

               one time i saw this gigantic woman pulling this tiny little girl by the arm into a K-Mart (years ago). the little girl was screaming and the woman and some really wrinkly old lady smoking a cigarette were both screeching at her to hurry up, and shut up, and then the woman sort of pushed down hard on the little girl's head for some reason, and my blood just boiled, so i ran over to the woman pulling on her and she was way taller and bigger than me and i said 'hey, that's child abuse lady!' and the little girl was crying and had bruises on her and both women started screeching at me to mind my own %$#ing business and i knew it was upsetting the little girl so i said in a calm, quiet voice even though i was shaking with rage 'would you like someone to do that to you? look at her she is terrified...is that really how you want her to be around you?' and she took her hand off of the child and walked into the store. the old lady was standing there looking confused, puffing away and all i could do was get on my knees and talk to the little girl and tell her she was going to be all right and that someone cared and then i told the store manager and he said he would deal with it.
               
               i sometimes wondered did it get worse that night when they were at home?
               
               or better?
               
               i'll never know.
               
               i think about it though, sometimes
               
               i have said i don't hate people but i do hate people who abuse children. they need to be taught some manners.
               
               i also hate people who are cruel to animals. err!

                  Jesus said if you harm a child it would be better for you to tie a rock around yourself and jump into the ocean compared to what I will do to you.
                  
                  And interesting that we are responsible to do what we can to stop injustice or the injustice is on our hands. That way nobody gets to be a coward !!!
                  
                  People are just to afraid to do anything and evil people know it!!!

            I think that if GOD saw entire towns getting rid of evil and injustice and terror etc...He would "offer help." But if we just stand around and do nothing, I wonder if He thinks "well, OK then, I guess if you all can tolerate it, go ahead then. But if you want my help, you step up."
            
            Like when a whole shipment of food is stolen by evil men that is bound for the starving in another country and good people do nothing, then they say "hey GOD what are YOU doing about it??!!!"

   I also think that enduring things and struggling with them makes us stronger and if GOD did it all for us we would be pathetic.

   I like to say that we all have a fist that can kill and yet only evil people kill with that fist without a cause and that is called murder.
   
   By the same token, if we all had a gun and innocent people knew what it was for just like a fist, I wonder how many criminals would have to go get a freeeeeking job?
