    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Here in the US, "net banking" is called online banking.  Americans would have no idea what you are talking about when you use the term "net banking".  This is important because HubPages is an American site with a largely American audience.

Before everyone piles, yes I know that there is a sizeable contingent of English language countries in the HubPages audience.  I'm just trying to point out that ESL writers need to know that if they want to get their articles featured on Hub Pages, they need to write in perfect American English and for a larger audience than just the people in their home countries.

Actually, I believe it's called online banking in most parts of the world. A search for "net banking" barely has any relevant hits.

    Here are some suggestions.

HubPages is not your website, so the first sentence in your article doesn't make sense.

You need to correct the grammar in the article and remove the strange words and symbols.

You have used the terms "friends" and "net banking" far too often.

Your instructions don't apply to all countries and banks. In my bank, for example, people choose their own user name and password.

You need to reconsider the purpose of your article and add extra information. My bank's website gives me excellent information about online banking. If I don't understand something on the website or have any questions, it would be better for me to consult someone who works at the bank and understands its specific net banking system than to read your article. You should keep this in mind as you edit the article.

I agree with Linda, and you use, "we will tell you..." It doesn't make sense because you are writing the article - not HubPages or a group of people.  I don't think you know English very well. I suspect English is your second language.

"Friend," you wrote the entire hub, and your bio, in colloquial English, I suspect, Indian blogging language. This is not proper English and is a turn-off to non-Indian readers. Please read some of the featured hubs here to understand what proper English is. Please visit the learning center too.

If doing so is too much work, then HP is not suitable for you.

'Net banking' is used 57 times big_smile

Edit: It's taken me five minutes to realise the writer is referring to online banking. Generally speaking, when you talk about 'net' in relation to finances, it means the figure remaining after taxation or expenses.

Props to theraggededge for actually counting the # of times "net banking" was used. I tried, but gave up after about two dozen.

Ha ha, Freddy's Cat... go on to the article, press Ctrl F. Type the search term in the box, press Enter. The count is done automatically... and to can zip from one to the next smile
