   I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi there,
      
      Your article is missing the information that is specific to India. The information you offer is generic and old. There are a trillion pages and websites on the web that cover this topic and your article will be competing with those.
      
      You cannot include HubPages because it is not a blogging platform.
      
      You can add your blog to your profile. There is a specific section in the bio. That way, your readers can verify your expertise. Your own blog can serve as a good example for them.
      
      Meanwhile, the Learning Center (click Help, top right) has a lot of information to help you format and write a good article.

      Your hub is mathematically precise. I do not know why it could not pass the quality assessment test.

         Maybe because you are not yet cognizant of what a good HubPages article is?
         
         Also... the article in question does not contain mathematics What it needs to be is linguistically precise and full of relevant, up-to-date information that can't easily be found elsewhere.

         Do you think this platform is a waste of time? I am thinking about quitting. I mentioned this site for my audience on my own website. Because I thought it would be a good platform. Now I am regretting it.

                  Nandini, I think you are asking this question because you do not see HubPages for what it is. This is a revenue sharing writing site. It is semi-professional. Those of us who write here and stay here primarily do it for the money.
                  
                  It is not a help site. It is not an English learning site. It is also not a blogging platform, or somewhere to grow backlinks to your blogs.
                  
                  Writing here can strengthen your writing skills. At the very least, if you take the trouble to follow HubPages rules, you get an idea of what professional writing is and how editorial policies are implemented. Lastly, I believe some Hubbers receive third-party offers every now and then; they could be invited to write elsewhere. However, any "influencer" project to showcase a product or website here is very unlikely to work.Those are not welcomed here, for good reasons.

                  I've been here 10 years. I've earned $thousands over the years. So, yes, very helpful. However, a lot of people misunderstand what is required.

                     Oh, yes, what CYong said. I was contacted by a commercial site editor who had read my articles here and I ended up writing three 1000 word articles a week for their publications for three years.

   How is starting a blog in India different from starting a blog anywhere else?

      I am also surprised to read this. The world wide web is universally coherent then how can it be different to create a blog in a specific country until the regional government there makes a mandate regarding this.

      I pointed out that what kind of niche you can pick to target the Indian audience. Obviously, the interest will be different for people from different countries.

         Then the title of your hub should be like this:- Some Guidelines for Creating a Successful Blog in Indian Audience
         
         It'd be better if you improve your word flow about the concerned topic.

   Nandini, any site where you are tested by the editors is a good site. I think this gives us an opportunity to learn and improve. There is no point in getting discouraged. You have great potential and would be learning to write even better articles. About 3 years back my first article did not feature and after 3 attempts it was accepted. Today when I look back upon that I easily find why it was not featured in first go. I took the challenge and tried to improve and today I have got about 38 featured artcles and 3 are still in unfeatured category and require some upgradation and I would be trying for that. I am not earning anything right now as the traffic to my articles is mediocre.
   
   So, stay and contribute and soon you would be a seasoned hubber here. I am sure if you stay, you would learn many things and improve phenomenally. Believe me, this is my experience here.

         When people post their article here because it has not passed the Quality Assessment Process, they need information how to fix it, not people telling them how marvellous they are.
         
         Not one person said you weren't good enough. Everyone made suggestions how you could improve your article. Your writing is not you, so don't take it personally. To be a writer, one has to accept feedback, even if you don't agree with it. You will usually find that it challenges you to become a better writer.
