There seems to be a problem on every feedback request. At first I thought people were unpublishing their articles but they can't all be doing it. HP staff can you take a look?

      It's unfortunate.

I forwarded the thread! But as it's a holiday weekend, it may take a few days before it is addressed.

Hi Samantha - Off topic but hoping you can help. One of your writers was saying how they'd had improved results through deleting comments. I'd like to try this myself on an article but can't see how it's possible as there's no trashcan on the capsule compared to all the other capsules. Another one of your writers (Brandon) suggested that you can hide comments under edit mode but did say last time he'd seen this was a few months ago. I tried this but still no luck. Because it looks as though Maven may not want comments in the future anyway, do you know a way, or, can you delete your end? Thanks!

It was not a few months ago, but a while ago. I just checked and do not see an option to hide or disable the comments capsule now which is a pity.

You are welcome to try this but I experimented with a few and as far as I can tell getting rid of the extraneous comments does not help page rank or page views.

Yes I couldn’t see how it would assist  ranking but she made the valid comment that because the comments are dated ( in my case back to 2016) that it makes your article look fresher without them. But I can’t find anyway of deleting them anyway and as Brandon above confirms that there seemed to be an option some time back to delete the entire capsule but now there isn’t.

If you look at the article in author view (do not go into edit mode) you can individually deny already approved comments and then delete them forever. You can hide your comments as well.

I went through and did a couple articles this morning and they are already changed on the niche sites.

Thanks a lot! I’ll give this another go.
