I have made a Hub on "Idiots Guide to Hubpages Referral"

    <URL snipped - no self-promotion in the Forums>

..... however, I have a few doubts like what is the advantage of putting a referral link from one hub to another ?  What is ad impression.

Many people think there is no benefit.  Those who think there is no benefit, pls. do not say that again.... Those know any benefit pls. answer....

I believe it benifits your site promotion with search engines like google. The search engines picks up sites with numerous links or referrals and gives them higer order. But the links have to be genuine and not blatent link sites. I may be wrong but thats what I think it is.

I'm a bit surprised you created a hub to explain something even you are not sure of and I personally believe your language is a bit offensive , calling someone new to hub pages an idiot is not a nice thing

Thanks for your opinion.  I appreciate your frankness.

I would like to address your concerns.

If a person searches for a particular thing or site on Google and does not find it, that does not mean that Google is worthless.  It just means that the particular information is just not listed on Google.  If it is a new site, it might take a few days to months before it is listed.

Similarly I think... just because someone is not sure about 1% of information about something, it does not mean that he should not write about the 99% he knows about the topic.

The concept of Hubpages is also similar.  Everyone is encouraged to write what they know and then go on improving on it.  That is why everyone is not having a hubscore of 100 on all topics.

The reason for my writing that hub is many people have wrong info or assumptions on referral.  I wanted to help themselves and myself to know better.

Also is it not funny that there are plenty who write on how to make money and are not themselves billionaires... being 100% sure on how to make money!  smile

I am sorry if you have felt my language to be offensive.  However, please note that I have never called new hubbers idiots...

Please read the hub and you will yourself know that.

Now the heading of the hub is "Idiot's Guide To HubPages Referral for New Hubbers"

You can find the following in Wikipedia...

The term "idiot" is used as hyperbole in claiming ensured comprehension. The approach relies on explaining a topic via very basic terminology. Definitions of words, profiles of people, and a synopsis of events for context are also provided in many cases.

[Hyperbole (pronounced /hʌɪˈpə:rbəli/[1], from ancient Greek "ὑπερβολή", meaning excess or exaggeration) is a figure of speech in which statements are exaggerated. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.

Hyperbole is used to create emphasis. It is a literary device often used in poetry, and is frequently encountered in casual speech. It is also a visual technique in which a deliberate exaggeration of a particular part of an image is employed. An example is the exaggeration of a person's facial feature in a political cartoon.]

        Hope that clarifies.

Yesterday you knew 0% and today you know 99%?

Lets have a look at those threads shall we:

What is the point in referring inside hubpages ?

Confusion regarding referrals and traffic referral program .....

Next time you might want to make a disclaimer or give a warning that after being helped by the community you'll come back in a day or two as a self-proclaimed expert.

In my circles, darkside, we call this "the blind leading the clueless."

Methinks the OP doesn't have a good grip on manners with this kind of wording in their hub: "Most idiots would not be knowing what is a referral ? Would they ?"

Especially after I've spoon fed them the information in two other threads they've made asking how it works and giving them links to two of my hubs that explain it.
