Granny Pot: Is This a Plagiarising Site?

   I discovered an article copied here:
   
   http://grannypot dot com/watts-amps-kilowatt-hours-what-does-it-all-mean.html
   
   However when I click on any of the other links on the site they lead to Dengarden, so I.m not sure what this is. The site is reported as being hosted by Google Inc. Google don't have an option for reporting content hosted by themselves.

      I had forgotten about it, but "Grannypot" was familiar, I was thinking I had come across it before.

   When I searched for grannypot in Canada (where I live), the search result was linked to Dengarden and one of your article titles was displayed, but it was an article about preventing electric shock in the home and garden. When I clicked on the link, I was taken to a site with what appeared to be Chinese characters and colored squares with numbers in them. Something strange seems to be going on here.

      If you click on the related articles, it actually leads to the correct Dengarden ones.

         I don't see any related articles to click on. The page looks as I described above. There's no English on the page. It looks like a game or gambling site. I get the same result on my laptop and my phone.

            That's what the home page looks like. If you check the URL I posted, there's related articles on that page.

               Okay, I see what you mean. If I copy your URL instead of going to the website, I do see your article with grannypot instead of dengarden in the address. What a strange setup.

                  And the related articles point to Dengarden. It's like they started copying the site, but haven't got around to changing all the links and maybe just abandoned the "project".

   I notice I reported four webpages on the site to Google and they removed them from search, but they're still accessible by following the link. Google is the hosting company, do how do I get them to take down content? There's no option on their reporting page.

      Eugene, as google still host the site(if I reason right), is there a setback that google can't take the whole thing down?                                        It has become necessary for google to know when a content is plagiarize before hosting such.

         I don't know. I'm not sure how to get them to remove content, just how to remove it so it can't be found if someone searches for it.

   If google identify a content is duplicated, what prevent it to throw searchlight to detect plagiarized contents? This is very terrible.
