I just joined hubpages 5 days ago, I love writing the hubs and I get some traffic but not a whole bunch. I just need some more experienced hubbers to view my hubs. Maybe comment or offer some tips/advice. But I would reall like some specific hints/Tips on how to get clicks an possibly earn some $$ off of them.

looks to me like you've got a good start going.  You just have to be patient.  Takes time to get some traffic going.  Being active in the forums helps to get you out in front of the other hubbers.  Good luck.

Just keep writing, and hang out in here.  This is where you meet people.  The more people you meet, the more traffic you get.  It takes time, and don't expect to be able to quit your day job from this place.

    Had a quick shufty.

Two of your hubs are too short. They need to be a minimum of 400 words - preferably more. A lot aim for btween 500 and 800 ish.

The subjects you've chosen on the short hubs should be easy to edd to in edit.

Your other stuff is fine and overall, well written.

Check outKeywords Tool and use it for keyword research.

Enter your keyword into the box, fill out the catchpa. When it loads, turn the search to 'exact' and drop the local search volume but add in the eCPC.

Use the keywords that are'nt saturated on the net, have a decent eCPC - at least a $1. For eg go do a search on trick or treat and halloween. Use the most relevant for tags.

Um ... you could use headers better - variations of your keyword. Insert the keyword about every 100 words or so. Aim for 4/5% of the total word count to be your chosen keyword.

I will email a more detailed version of the keyword side of things.

I'm not sure about adding ebay or amazon capsule into the hub, unless that's the purpose of the hub. You'd be better checking with hubbers that are much better at that - Nelle Hoxie, Girly Girl (off the top of my head) are great at writing product reviews.

I will go back for a longer read of one of your better hubs and get back to you if I can think of more.

Remember - great content, matching grammar, content matching keywords (search engines aren't stupid), attention to detail, great presentation - media inserted in the right places etc - will all aid your ability to go go from so-so to noticed by the surfers you're aiming your hubs at.

And then there's backlinking potential ... but that's another story. For now - go see what you can tweak smile

Oh and have patience - it will take a few months if not more before you start to see the light.

What are you complaining about - you just got started, you're doing great! Maybe some of the hubs were a bit short. But certainly unique, like the one about the stolen lung. They like unique. But what could you sell on Amazon while you are talking abut stolen lungs? - That's the question!

hcksjstnposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Yea True But i dont write all my hubs for the sole purpose of making money. some of them I write for fun because i enjoy it. I wrote the one on the Stolen Lung because i thought it was interesting.

It was interesting. But a higher score will attract more people, if you write something you want people to read it, eh? And you're not going to make any money off other hubbers anyway. But they will tend to read higher scored individuals as well as hubs.
