Those who did one - where are you with yours?

I did one, four months ago. Yesterday it made $4.85 on it's own. That's not a lot but were it doing just over double per day, I'd be really happy. I haven't back linked, I didn't do anything other than find a highly searched for low paying keyword, and create a comprehensive content rich hub.

I can see it's future potential. If I back linked it some, got it onto page one, it's probably going to fly right up in terms of income.

Maybe not $100 a day but good enough. I'm looking to find out if anyone else did one and how they're doing. If everyone could write just one $10 a day hub, it'd be great smile

Yes, that is my goal right now - a $10 a day hub on my way to the $100 one.

I have an article that has earned almost $100 on another site I write for (EHow), but it took me almost a year lol.  I'd love to write a hub that earned $100 in a day, or even a month; unfortunately, I usually prefer to write about topics that interest me as opposed to topics that are lucrative.

Hey well done! I also joined that challenge although I was really only paying lip service if you like, because I'd love to make $100 a day on any of my hubs and you just never know before you write them if it can be done. I write the odd one for the Hell of it, because it is on a subject that interests me and I've enjoyed the research, but more and more my hubs are commercially orientated. Still not even got as high as you though! Mind you, I'd be happy if every single one I've ever written got half of that amount. I don't know if it can be done, but its still a good target to aim for smile

How do you make any money from this.

Hi Sherry, do you mean how to make money on the site?

You need to sign up for affiliates - I'd recommend starting just with Adsense or Adsense & Amazon.

Same here Sunny. I like to write what I like and congrats by the way smile The one I wrote was, luckily enough, something I knew a fair bit about already so wasn't wholly unpleasant to produce. I'm glad I did it, it was a challenge type of thing, and it's interesting to see what happens with it smile

Surely I have one PrettyFroggy. smile It's doing OK, lately in the range of $50-70 mostly. smile

That's my honest aim Misha, $50 a day would happily suit. Despite the lashing you got a bit back, I'm still glad you posted your hub results a way back. I wouldn't have thought of doing this otherwise and so far, so good. My hat is off to you smile

And congrats. That's a very nice value your hub brings in big_smile

Oh, I don't mind lashing every now and then. Though I certainly prefer licking somebody's gums wink

I'm shooting for $100.00 per day for adsense for ALL my websites and hubs combined. I will be very happy with that.

I'm doing 20% of that now, in 6 months maybe I hope to get there. smile

I'm shooting for the one. 100 bucks a day from one hub will definitely have me hanging up my keyboard and rolling out the coffee machine - maybe even allow me the time to learn how to cook great dinners and keep my man even happier than he already is lol

Good stuff Bill, good to know when folks are getting somewhere big_smile

    Hey Frogdropping,

My 'designated' $100 Hub is doing at the current time, horridly. It will either trickle in traffic forever or slowly gain traffic and traction over time. For the moment its $3 a month.

But other Hubs are doing far beyond expectation. So one of the otehrs may become the magic $100 a day Hub first. Either way its a win win ... to come smile

Mine is doing extremely poorly. I ended up editing the hub and going for another keyphrase and it's still a non starter, lol lol. I'm sure with some more work I can squeeze some cash out of it though smile

You've got to be kidding, Frogdropping!  If all my hubs together consistently pulled even $10 a day I'd be a happy camper!  I haven't hit that magic number yet, although I came close yesterday.

On the other hand I do have a small handful of hubs that occasionally get $4-$5 in one day.  If I could just get them to cooperate, I might make that $10 for a day. big_smile

I would be happy with my first cent.  A dollar would send me delirious.  I would say what one hundred dollars would do, but I've misplaced my thesaurus.

Inspiring forum post. I guess I will start with a goal of a one dollar a day from Hubpages, then go 5 dollars, then I will start to focus on ten. After that, yeah $100 would be amazing..

Glad to know that we have people at hubpages who are making great income. I don't know when I will be able to reach there, through hubpages.

There aren't any. All you need is written about around the 'net - you just have to sort the wheat from the chaff.

      1. write about topics that are being looked for
      2. write content rich hubs
      3. content matches title
      4. write several hubs on the same topic - link them together
      5. apply on-page SEO - tags, keywords, headers, titles, placement
          of capsules
      5. once some aging of the hub/hubs has occurred, create backlinks
          if necessary
      6. rinse and repeat 100's of times smile
