Erika Kirk’s Promise Sparks Unprecedented Requests

Erika Kirk, widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has publicly vowed to continue her husband's legacy following his tragic assassination on September 10, 2025. In her first public remarks, delivered from the studio in Phoenix where Charlie hosted his podcast, Erika declared, “The movement my husband built will not die.” She emphasized that his mission would grow stronger and louder, ensuring his voice and wisdom endure.

Erika confirmed that Turning Point USA's initiatives, including campus tours and the widely syndicated podcast, will continue. She also announced that the AmericaFest conference, scheduled for December, will proceed as planned. Encouraging young people to get involved, Erika urged supporters to join local Turning Point USA chapters and emphasized that Charlie's renowned podcast and radio show would persist, ensuring his voice and influence live on.

    Overnight Surge

In an unprecedented show of support, Turning Point USA (TPUSA) received 18,000 new chapter requests overnight following Erika Kirk's impassioned speech honoring her late husband. Before this, TPUSA had 9,000 college chapters and 1,100 high school chapters. This remarkable influx highlights the deep resonance of Charlie's vision and the nation's readiness to rally behind a movement grounded in faith, freedom, and responsibility.

Erika Kirk’s vow to carry forward her husband’s mission is both deeply personal and a powerful call to action. She declared, “Charlie, I promise, I will never let your legacy die, baby. I won’t. I promise, I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.” (Fox News) This pledge marks a transformative moment for TPUSA, signaling its potential to grow beyond its original scope and become a cornerstone of American conservatism.

Looking ahead, TPUSA stands at a pivotal crossroads. Under Erika’s guidance, the organization can expand its influence while remaining true to its founding principles. By investing in grassroots engagement, encouraging open dialogue, and adapting to the evolving political landscape, TPUSA can continue to educate, inspire, and mobilize the next generation of conservative leaders.

In essence, Erika Kirk’s commitment is more than a personal promise—it is a rallying cry for everyone who believes in the values Charlie championed. With renewed purpose and energy, Turning Point USA is poised to shape the future of American conservatism for years to come. Erika also declared, “You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.”

    About Turning Point USA

At its core, Turning Point USA is a conservative nonprofit focused on educating and empowering young Americans—high school and college students alike—around the principles of free markets, limited government, and traditional American values.

Campus Presence: TPUSA creates student chapters on campuses to provide a platform for conservative ideas, host events, and engage students in political discourse.

Education and Advocacy: They run programs and campaigns that promote liberty, capitalism, and free speech, highlighting issues like high taxes, overregulation, and perceived liberal bias in academia.

Youth Engagement: TPUSA identifies, trains, and empowers young conservative leaders through internships, conferences, and mentorship programs.

Political Activism: They encourage students to participate in elections, campaigns, and policy debates, emphasizing activism as a path to influence government and society.

Culture and Values: The organization stresses patriotism, personal responsibility, and civic involvement, instilling these values in the next generation of leaders.

In short, TPUSA builds a network of young conservatives who can influence culture and politics, combining education, activism, and leadership development.

A Turning Point USA spokesperson said in a social media post that the organization has been deluged with requests to start new campus chapters for high schools and colleges in the days following Charlie Kirk's death.

Andrew Kolvet said in a post on X early Sunday, Sept. 14, that the group has received MORE THAN  32,000 inquiries in 48 hours to start new campus chapters. Turning Point USA, the conservative youth-focused organization founded by Charlie Kirk, says it currently has about 900 college chapters and 1,200 high school chapters.

    Shar,

The left may have not liked the ideas of Charlie Kirk, but they don' realize how many more people are watching his videos and liking what they see.

My wife had a friend who didn't know who Charlie Kirk was but after watching his videos and learning about him, she felt he was a great man.  My wife has a relative who had the same experience.

I'm sure that is a story that has been repeated many times.

Mike,   I would surmise that many people are now watching his videos and discovering what Charlie truly stood for and what he found important. He was a pure conservative, passionate about sharing his views, debating them with conviction, yet doing so with a calm and intelligent demeanor. He always listened first and questioned later. Being young himself, he understood the language of his generation better than anyone I’ve seen, and he worked tirelessly to bring conservatism to the youth. Most likely, he registered more young people to vote than any other individual. That made him a great threat to the Democrats; his ability to inspire and pull young people into the Republican Party was unmatched. To many on the left, he was hated not for who he was, but for what he represented. Now, he stands as a martyr in two ways: for his Christian faith and for his political activism. And because of that, his voice will only grow louder. Those who never knew him, especially the young, will now seek him out. They’ll listen to his podcasts and YouTube videos, and they’ll come to understand that power is found in doing, in contributing, in sharing words, and in knowing you can make a difference. By his example, he will empower many to speak out without fear.

Thank you for sharing on my thread...

I think Charlie Kirk's wife said it best when stated,

“They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God’s love,” she said. “They should all know this. If you thought my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you have unleashed across this country and this world.”

They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and God’s love.” Mike, these are exactly the three values the left has been working to destroy. Without them, we have nothing, we are nothing. And that, it seems, is precisely what they want.

In reality, this killing is the turning point that will stop them cold in their tracks. Who would want to align with such an evil?  They coined the term woke --- well, Charlie's mission, and his death woke up a great majority.

Hi Shar, thanks for sharing TRUTH. I am so glad that I don't have to define that word; not on this thread!
Everything that both you and Mike have said is spot on!
Normal people don't celebrate or dismiss these type of tragedies. Sick and/or programmed individuals are going to do what they are going to do.
I pray they seek help... for their own good!
In the meantime, we will watch CK's (and EK's) work and mission, spread and grow, as we enter into an era of renewal and revival.

Absolutely, I hear you and completely agree. I’ve reached a point where I no longer engage with those who are clearly trolling or baiting on this thread. My focus now is on meaningful, civil conversation and sharing views that actually contribute rather than divert, distract, or disrupt threads attempting to bait arguments. We need to stop giving attention to anyone who trolls posts purely to derail the discussion.  I put together this thread, where we can focus on truth, honor CK and EK’s mission, and encourage growth and renewal, which are far more valuable than getting caught up with those who thrive on chaos.

I am so happy to see you left a comment.  Bless you and yours.

"meaningful, civil conversation and sharing views that actually contribute rather than distract or disrupt"

        Shar,

Do you really think the left is capable of such a thing?  I have serious doubts they can even grasp this concept.

Like I said before, they have nothing.

A friend pointed out to me that the left doesn't even have nice people.  Who is a public spokesperson on the left or one of their political leaders who could be labeled a nice person?

        I can't think of any...can you?

To show you the left mind set, the governor Josh Shapiro gave a talk about his experience with political violence when someone tried to burn down his home when he and his family were inside.

Later it was pointed out it was a leftist nut job who burned down his house because Shapiro is Jewish and the leftist was filled with hate and anger for Israel.

These people are not to be believed.

His Facebook posts contained rants against "big pharma," women, trans people and the government...he also criticized Biden and praised violence....Overall, the investigation and reporting on the incident do not categorize Balmer as a "leftist" and indicate that his actions stemmed from a complex mix of personal, financial, and political grievances.

But you know what, I've looked back over this forum and didn't see one drop of sympathy from the right wing posters of this forum... Same with Melissa Hortman who was murdered in her bed...

"Do you really think the left is capable of such a thing?  I have serious doubts they can even grasp this concept." Mike

Mike, I’ve shared my feelings very openly, sometimes perhaps overstepping boundaries. I even asked you to stop engaging with those being disruptive. I’ve been clear that I will no longer engage with anyone whose views feel baiting or trolling. I now recognize that by engaging, I was part of the problem, allowing them to spread discord.

I hold the left responsible for this man’s death, the left-leaning media, comedians, trolls, members of Congress, the Biden White House, and others. I’ve shared my thoughts without giving these provocateurs any forum or attention. I will not be hooked by their words. It takes two to fight; if only one side is screaming and swinging, no one takes notice, and no one fights back.

I’ve also noticed some right-leaning media promoting the idea of ‘not being silenced,’ but I don’t agree. Both sides have been vocal, yet one side has used horrific rhetoric that, in my view, made it seem acceptable to target and kill a conservative. The only way to stop this small minority of violent actors is to turn off their microphones. I’ve held this view for some time: let our votes speak, and focus on constructive discussion within our own forums. Just as Erika Kirk is doing, she is carrying forward her husband’s mission through action, not by arguing about what should be done.
