   If you have analytics you *might* be able to tell if you use the click patterns/site overlay info.

   I've seen voting up/down results a few times, I think. Once was on a link from the facebook and another was a random search from a page I can't recall.

   It used to show thumbs up and thumbs down in the stats.
   
   But too many people made threads crying about getting a thumbs down that they got rid of those displayed stats.

   i get those all the time...and on hubs with lots of positive comments! i assumed they just meant traffic was slowing down...with almost half a million hubs in this site, that's understandable.

      If you're talking about the blue and red triangles next to a title, that is exactly what they mean. It just shows that traffic has gone down from the previous day. Could be by as little as a few views if there were an extra lot the day before.
      I think the question was referring to figuring out how many down ratings or up ratings you receive on a hub. Which you can't do.

      The blue and red triangles do mean traffic. The OP is referring to the "Rate It", "Up" and "Down" buttons on hubs.

   I'd like to see them to attempt to analyse, if its the topic or the style. For example this hub

   Started at the typical 50, and was listed on the catagory front page (as alot of my others have) & subsequently had its score drop as low as 37,(following quite a few hits) I've never had a score that low. It's back up a little and I am almost sure what appears to be negative feedback is due to subject.

      Look, you published the hub 9 hours ago for crying out loud! Thats what happens with new hubs. They start at fifty something and often, though not always, bounce around in the thirties or forties before working their way back up. It was at 49 when I looked which is right under what it started at. Not really any reason to think someone down rated you as far as I can see.
      
      Also, if you're going to be writing hubs about political issues and especially hubs about the President (wether they are pro or against it doesn't matter) you'd best be prepared for some negative backlash. You can't expect for others not to disagree with some things you may say in the hub. Just as it is your right to say those things, it's other ppl's right to disagree and also say so.
      
      I didn't even see any negative comments in the comment section, so just be patient.

   i have never flagged a hub (as the Hubteam can tell you), but i think if you do you have to explain why, don't you? in which case, there's a record of it and they could probably easily tell you with a quick email.

   I haven't had any flagged, I am addressing the red & green "rate it" arrows at the bottom of the hub just above comments. I seem to recall reading this feedback affects the score of the hub.

    I have no issue with agreement or disagreement with the subject matter, I actually expected a considerable amount of disagreement, but in the comments. It would just be nice to see the trend and analyze it.
    
    As to the time, I have yet to experience the drops you are describing, that’s new to me, I have watched gradual growth on all the hubs I have published so far, but again never seen a fall, which is why I asked the question.

    Welcome to HubPages, readytoescape the vote buttons do not show who votes up or down. Some say it does affect your score but not sure about that and if it does, well, that's bad since it opens the door for some people to do that out of spite and malice.

       It seems to do so, of the thirty hubs I have posted this is the only one that has dropped in score, down to a 37, It's back up now in the sixties and rising but I was asking to figure it out. Evidently it also has effect on author score too, which dropped from the 90s to the 80s in the same very short time period.
