Question, how are contextual links created within a hub? I understand how to make and use the link capsule say for instance I want to create a link to give readers a website to provide them more information. My question is when a link appears within the body of a paragraph; how would I accomplish this task?

    Text capsule in Edit mode.
    Edit.
Select text you wish to link with.
Click chain looking box after Pi.
    Another box will open
Add URL to "Link URL" box
    Click "Insert"
    Click "Save"
    "Click "Done Editing"

(Unless you want to add more)

Just be careful not to over do the links or it will effect your hubs score.

What browser are you using? Hubpages doesn't work so well with certain browsers (namely Opera and Safari). You might try switching browsers to see if that helps.

    Mark Knowles,

I have added the link  http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/science/ … 11-08.html to the text "Results of a four-year study on Polar Warming" just below the 2nd paragraph of the hub http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Polar-Warming . I have followed the steps you've listed in making that link. If I click on it I get an error and the IE status bar indicate "local intranet".

If you can help me fix this, then I would be very grateful to you.
