    Hi,

I've written this forum post in an attempt to have something improved that I thought was not good and that is a manifestation of things I don't like in life:

    http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/5019

I was nowhere near insulting anyone and I thank all that responded in a constructive way, as I did in the thread.

However, this has started insults to me (many), I will quote two:

and also this one on my Hub:

and, in fact, all the other comments on this Hub (some of them are possibly even worse than the two quoted):

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Haiku-Poem-Misha

I'm very serious in asking HubPages to publicly condemn this bullying. Really a lot of your terms of service are broken by these people here. Thank you.

    protjack:

The thread in question has been closed to further replies.  You may deny any comments not to your liking on your own hubs, and report any forum posts you feel violate our terms for review by a moderator.

HubPages does not condone "bullying," but we generally do not interfere in disagreements between members unless there is abusive language used or personal attacks are being made.  Please report any posts that contain either of these things.

Thanks for closing the thread, that's a good move.

I'm leaving the comments on my Hub (approving them all), they tell a lot.

I have quoted abusive and personal comments and posts in this post, but I will do it more directly - going to try to find that option that you mention.

    Thanks for your reply. Cheers.

I have just looked at this from a neutral position.

The thing is when you criticize a FREE service that is loved by other people in a rude way, you are bound to get a pasting off other members. Do you realise how much work goes into coding a website or how difficult it is to balance one set of users needs against another's? It is hard, time consuming (and often unrewarding) work.

I suggest you go to Google and tell them that their machine is bad (or whatever it was you said) and see how much response you get. I think some of the hubbers were rude, but I can see why they responded as they did and they did give an honest answer as to how to sort out your perceived problem.

TBH I don't think this site is suitable for your content and that the warning was correct (and of course ONLY a warning), try a poetry site I know there are plenty (but stay away from poetry.com, its a scam).

    A webmaster.

    protjack,

I find it strange that you consider our comments bullying when you are the one who wrote a hub attacking a well respected member of this community and then tagged it as a poem rather than tagging it as it honestly is...a personal attack.

How would you like it if someone wrote a hub attacking you? When you enter into a close community such as HP and immediately begin to attack the members who have been here and earned the respect of this community, you should be willing to take to fall-out that is sure to follow. Now, you are saying that WE are breaking the HP rules.  It is not against TOS of HP to defend the site and people in our community. If you can't take criticism of your hubs when you attack a fellow member then you shouldn't do it.

I have had a few differences with some hubbers here as well but I didn't go write a hub publicly attacking them, either! You will learn that in a community this large, you will have disagreements with other members and you just have to learn to agree to disagree. What I stated in the comment I made was purely fact. People who know Misha will only read that hub and think bad of you for writing it, not of Misha. What you wrote was nothing more than a smear tactic that backfired and now you want to say that the rest of the community is breaking the rules for standing up for Misha. What is NOT childish about that? If you want to accuse someone of breaking the TOS, you should be willing to back it up with some proof.

    Here's the thing, protjack..

1.)  You were given solid advice by numerous hubbers.

2.)  You've also been given solid commentary from Maddie, our resident Hottie Hubpages Moderator.

3.)  You should be able to look at the advice and comments given and, fairly easily I must say, utilize them to prevent further warnings of substandard content without creating more of a ruckus on the forums.

Lastly, if you REALLY wanted resolution without being the target of those who are defending a working system and community like Hubpages, you wouldn't have created forum threads about it.  You would have emailed the Hubpages staff directly - the email is on the FAQ page.
