Hi there fellow hubbers!
Just wondered if there is anybody else in here participating in MOVEMBER? I have growed my mo for 24 days now in support of the Prostate Cancer Charity.
If you're not known with the concept of MOvember, here is a little introduction..
"Movember is a mix of the word Moustache and November. An honorary month where moustaches are celebrated all across the world in an annual charity event, a fundraising event to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, and to raise community awareness of Men's Health Issues."
I have written a full article on the phenomenon:

Will post some pictures of my MO very soonishly;)
MO love,
Alexander
thanks for the information, will read your article..is this in aus only??
You seriously don't look old enough to even drive one Alex (that's a compliment BTW)
prettydarkhorse: Thanks. It all started in Melbourne, Australia in 1999. Since then it has spread across the global surface like a moustachy pandemic
Pearldiver: Erh... thanks. I'll update my profile picture, my MO is coming along nicely btw.
rmcraycne: Thanks for the heads up, must have searched in hubs instead of forums cause I couldnt find it, but seeing as it is all for a good cause I can not see the harm in another forum topic.
PS: My team has currently raised over £400 for prostate cancer.
I don't see a problem either. Just thought you might be interested in some of the other hubbers participating. As I said in the other thread, I'm all for anything that promotes facial hair on men=D

There's some really funny ideas out there that raise money for good causes. This is one of them. So, it's only for men who don't normally wear a moustache, so they grow it in November? Then you shave it in December or something? Or shave it off in October so you can regrow it in November? I guess I could find these out myself, but you're right here, Resolve. lol
SandyMcCollum: You may participate even though you usually have a moustache, only major rule is that on the 31st of October you have to shave of all facial hair, starting from scratch. Then its grow grow grow your mo, gently down the dream.. resolved.
rmcrayne: I definitely am, thank you for sharing. Have a MOvely day!

This was in my email box this morning...Movember(formally known as November) is a month long fund raising event during which participants(almost always adult males) attempt to grow a luxurious and stylish moustache throughout the month. The month of moustaches is just over a month away. This is the first year that I'll be participating by growing a 'stache and trying to raise some money for prostate cancer. Is anybody else here going to grow some facial hair in November? For those of you that don't know about it, here are some...

I'm growing a moustache during November to raise cancer awareness (and raise money for a friend). It's a great chance to look like a 70's throw-back but for a good cause. I'm wondering what type to grow - handlebars, pencil etc..Help me decide :-)Jimmy
