   We just found out my daughter is having a girl. They already have two boys and were hoping and praying for a little girl. This will help with my "grandchild ratio." Now the score will be five to three!

      Congratulations! That must be exciting. I wanted a little girl sooooo bad. I got two boys in stead. Wouldnt trade them for anything in the world.

    I have twin four year old grandaughters available for a swap! I have girls, girls, girls.
    The four year olds have got to go! They have been outsmarting me for years now, and are brutal grandfather bashers!
    Seriously habee, you must be thrilled!
    Grandchildren are wonderful, and you can give em back!

    Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. She's due in May. I buy clothes for all my grandkids, but I must admit the girls are more fun to shop for. Funny, I was such a tomboy as a kid I never played with Barbies - I was more interested in riding horses and playing cowboy. But since my two granddaughters arrived, I've made up for lost time!!
    
    I had three daughters, and my first grandchild was a boy. I didn't know what to do with him. Whenever I changed his diaper, I never was sure how to point the "spigot." lol. I love my grandsons dearly, but we needed another girl!

    Hi Habee,
    Just read your great news.  It is wonderful when a new baby is on the way. My girlfriend's daughter has just found out that she is pregnant also. She is due on 30th May, what date is your daughter due to have her baby? They could be due about the same time, and we could compare notes on how they are going.
    Have fun buying clothes for your new baby granddaughter when she arrives.  BB
