0 I think it's a great idea to have a chat room. Though I will not be using anything not available to Firefox. Call me a radical
but I won't be forced into using IE for anything.
So something similar to what facebook has where you could chat type with people you've become acquainted with. Or what about skype?

Newsletter archives
This is just my opinion. I would like to see a page from where one can download archived newsletters, preferably in pdf format. Those who do not receive newsletters due to various issues like non-delivery from the mail providers will appreciate it, I guess.
