   Right, I have re-arranged a recent hub which got flagged for adult content.. It was entitled 'sexy christmas gifts', I have deleted nearly all the durex play products included, except for one which is massage melts and ann summers bodypaint, I also included one photo of a sexy outfit for pleasing the guy..however there is no nudity
   can I still use the words foreplay? and lubricant? Lol I have removed the word sex and replaced it with other words lol
   I have also included other products non sex related
   hope this is ok, Im scared to do anything now, I actually gained a follower from that hub too

      The FAQ actually says in very plain language what is not allowed as far as adult topics go,

         Be honest. If it was ALL very plain I wouldn't have had the experiences I had.
         Yes read the rules by all means.
         When you get to the generalized terms and the 'catch all' phrases and are still concerned--and you will be--simply e-mail them and send them a link to your hub before it is published and they will let you know if you have to change anything.
         They don't generally like realistic sex toys--mainly male-- from my experience and they don't want exposed nipples.  I use "PAINT" and spray paint the nipples.
         You can use the word sex.  Trust me.
         Anyway, read the info relache suggested and then e-mail admin. for specific answers to your specific remaining questions.

      I do hope that after you had made revisions in your hub, all is well. Yes, I'm playing very cautious because I may not know what to do after I'm flagged for any violation. I do a lot of reading first.

   Im a little scared because it says you can get your account closed if you keep re-submitting, but Ive taken out all the naughty products such as vibrating rings lol but now theres only 2 words in the article, lubricant and foreplay..but that isnt preoccupied with sex is it..
   theres only really 2 sex related products, massage melts and bodypaint, and a costume can't been considered lewd.

   You could always write to team@hubpages.com and explain what you've done to clean it up and see if meets their approval.  It would show a spirit of cooperation.  I'm sure they'll tell you what "passes" and doesn't.

   Judging by some of the avatars I have been seeing of late, as long as you do not get graphic or specific but talk in general terms I would say that you would be fine.  I might put a disclaimer in the title or first line though

   Richie, HubPages's rules are really just Adsense's rules. We all rely on Adsense to earn an income, and Adsense is not only prudish but dumb.  When the Googlebots scan your Hub, they're not reading words in context, they just looking for isolated rude or sex-related words. 
   
   So you could probably get away with some really lewd content if you combined words that are quite innocent on their own - but use a word like "foreplay", which doesn't have any meaning other than sexual, and you could be sunk!
   
   I've seen people with serious Hubs about sexual issues getting into trouble over this, as well as ( would you believe) a Hub about children that used the word "potty". Whereas a Hub about saucy ladies' underwear with virtually naked girls doesn't cause a ripple.
   
   As you said, you can lose your Adsense account over this, so you have to ask yourself whether it's really worth it.  There are plenty of other places where you can sell that kind of stuff if you want to, where you wouldn't be taking the same risk.

      We actually DON'T all rely on Adsense to earn an income--just FYI.  Some of us are here because we enjoy writing.  I get MY income from other sources AND I write what I WANT to write.
      You're probably eight about everything else though . . .

    Its interesting that Google placed ads regarding Asian girls on Hubs but turns out to be a prude.
    
    Work with the admin, they are here to help and the more quality published hubs the better for everyone.
