Should I make two different hubs for this topic?

   I am writing about my visit to the Louvre. I'm trying to give an educational idea of what it was like and yet not detail every single thing I saw.
   
   should I make a part 1 and part 11?  I am thinking maybe the intro, antiquities sections for one, and then a separate hub to cover paintings and conclusion.
   
   If I do this, do I label the second one Part 11?
   the title I now have is My Visit to the Lourvre; Paris, France.

      I think this would be a good idea, perhaps mention Part II in brief in Part I and link to it, then have more detail within Part II on that area
      
      (If it's Roman numerals you want write Part I and Part II, if not, write Part 1 and Part 2. Part 11 just looks like you're saying eleven)

      Hey Rebekah, I saw you post up this thread and came to see if I could help. The Educational idea is pretty cool for a Hub, and I would agree not to put all the details and create a separate Hub for things such artwork(different styles) or decade of art or history of the lines of art(family portraits).
      
      I would setup a Hub, like you have My Visit to the Lourvre; Paris, France and inside that, I would have separate links which switch to different Hubs, but put the links at the bottom of the Hub and inside the spot where you mention it, so you have two separate links linking one hub to another. It will give your more aggressive art people, a quicker link to use, if so chooses, or can use the link at the end.
      
      As for the title - I would use the words one or two, simply based on keywords. I think one or two are decent key words.
      
      I hoped I helped. I really don't know much about art or it's history. I do realize it's significance, but never gained an appreciation for it.

      yeah, i've done that for long hubs. and labeled them Part I and Part II.

      Rebekah, you are such a smart writer, why don't you write from the stand point of what a first-timer really wants to focus on in a one-day trip. That would be what I would be most interested in, having never been there (yet.) I think it would give searchers the info they are really looking for as well. Students would eat this stuff up getting ready to make a trip, or even to write a paper on it. You could structure the hubs 1 and 2 still with same info, but just with the focus of "If I only had one day to visit the Louvre." Then, if they HAPPEN to have a second day, you could detail more about that as well.

      Have a specific angle in mind on how you're going to write it, then do it that way.
      
      Then try a different slant, and publish it somewhere else. Gather, YouSayToo or even on your own blog, and link to your hub.
      
      In fact, you could write a hub on any one specific piece of art. Maybe give its history, interesting information, and so on, and then link to your hub which will be a broad overview.
      
      OR... write it as a capstone series. The Fifteen Most Famous
      Works At The Louvre. And then write an overview that links to each one in the series.
      
      There's plenty of different ways you can run with it. The important thing is to be writing, writing and writing some more.

         DS, thanks so much for this helpful info. there are many different ways I can go, and so much that could be said. the capstone series sounds amazing. you all are giving me some great advice! 
         
         dogsidaed, yes, the DaVinci Code takes place in the Louvre and when I was there, I had not read the book or seen the movie yet, but apparently many others had, because it was crowded!!
         I bought the illustrated version of the book when I came home.
         cried during the movie at the end. the music is some of the most beautiful music ever written.
         
         but it wasn't the movie I saw last night, just some movie on a movie channel with Sam Ford, don't remember the name.

   The Louvre is a very prestigious place.  You could probably easily make a hub out of each item seen.  Do a little investigative work on each item and slap it together into a nice hub a minimum of 500 words each hub and post it.  I'd love to read them.  Especially if you have a picture of the items seen.

   thanks for the advice. I think I will make it two parts, and yes, part 2 looks better, there are already over 700 words in the first section of which I am not done.
   
   as I started writing today, I thought of my feelings as I observed different ojbects, or stood in awe in front of the paintings, so I'll share some of my feelings and some info regarding those areas that most affected me.
   
   yes, I do have pics of my own, and will use some from the internet and a possibly a video.

      the first one is already titled, no part 1 in title.
      I haven't started the second one yet, I still need to finish the first one, these kinds of hubs are somewhat more time consuming as I have to check details, etc. good thing I bought a book about it while I was there!
      
      what is your suggestion as how to label the second one?

   Maybe something like Outstanding artworks of the Louvre? Boring titles are supposedly better than something clever
   
   On a side note, I visited the Louvre and was blown away by some of the works of art. I was shocked at how small the Mona Lisa was.

      I like that title for the second part, as it will be the artwork and paintings. and yes, there will be a small section about mona lisa. that was the most disappointing for me as everyone was taking pics .... I've been in museums where you can't photograph at all.
      
      but yes, some of the artwork ... I'll write about it.

   I agree to making this at least two Hubs.  Write them as separate, stand-alone Hubs, though. 
   
   If you feel the content of the intro and conclusion is important, write them together as one Hub. In the middle of that Hub, refer the reader to your separate Hub on antiquities and your separate Hub on the paintings, each with a link.

   I agree about breaking this down.  I can't imagine even giving a good overview of the Louvre in one hub.  I thought the idea of including the links within the article as well as at the end was a great idea.  To have the option of expanding the general intro article as you go can be really fascinating for a reader.
   
   Good luck.  I'll have to check it out when you are done.  (I was lucky enough to visit the Louvre once, but I was only about 10 at the time... would like to get back someday as an adult.)

    thanks daniel for the suggestions and that is taken into consideration. I know many, many people know nothing about the Louvre and so much could be written about it, just the history alone could fill a hub easily.

    o.k. I have another question regarding my two Louvre hubs.
    
    since my first one will have links to the second one, do I wait until the second is completed also, or should I go ahead and publish the first one when it is completed and add the links when the second is complete?
    
    I'm thinking, I should probably wait until they're both completed.
