What if hubpages are put in black list ?

   I have remarked that in my enterprise where I work some sites are blocked for example ourstory.com. Hubpages is not blocked but I guess one day some competitors could ask to put it in a black list.
   
   I'm just curious how could this be resolved ?

   I can't access HP at school either, but the Department of Education is a butthead when it comes to blocking sites. Not that I'd want to hub there either.

   Many forums dont allow pages from HP to be posted. I have realised that in some wordpress blogs and news forums. HP is banned in those areas propably due to the work of overzeolous hubbers trying to over post their work.

   Yes, HubPage links are already banned on Yahoo Answers.  I used to write on Helium, and they were banned on Digg for a while, but I've discovered I can still post Helium links on Answers.
   
   I noticed Isabella was getting a little grumpy about all the "whingeing" that was going on in the Forums, but this is part of the reason why people do it, IMO - because we care about HP and want it to be the best. 
   
   It's the spammers, the get-rich-quick artists and the over-zealous newbies that have the potential to spoil it for the rest of us, so we're quite right to be concerned about them.  When the site was smaller, there may have been fewer of them, or it was easier to sort them out.  Now, I suspect there are far more than we realise. 
   
   No idea what to do about them - it's a double pronged thing, I suppose.  Educate the over-enthusiastic newcomers and bring the get-rich-quickers down to earth, and boot out the spammers by flagging conscientiously.

      You are not the only one who cares. Many people, including those whom you call spammers, get-rich-quick-artist and over-zealous newbies, have their own vision of what is good and what is bad for Hubpages. And that vision not necessarily corresponds to yours.
      
      Don't judge, and you will not be judged...

      If you're intent on self-promoting at Yahoo Answers, guess what? Your one of the spammers who is making things suck for other hubbers. Take a look in the mirror.
      
      Digg, Stumbleupon and Yahoo Answers and other sites like them were never meant to be tools for self-promotion. The same people who bitch about spammers on Hubpages writing Hubs just to get backlinks are the same people who are spamming other websites with your Hubpage links in order to get backlinks.
