                        Not really, Astrology is a pseudo-science, a form of mindless entertainment, elevator music in print form, blurbs of positive reinforcement for the one dimensional, small dollops of claptrap spread on paper toast, that sort of thing.

                           The predictions and all that crap is not science. The planets effect on human behavior is the science.  The moon has the power to pull water on shore.  What makes you think those giant planets out there have no effect on little ole you.

                              That's called gravity, and that effect is a tidal force between the earth and the moon and has about as much effect on me and you as the gravity from a person standing next to us.
                              
                              
                              
                              They do. I look through telescopes at them as often as I can. The effect is one of awe and splendor. On a good night and with a good eyepiece and filter combination, one can see the minuscule ridges of craters on the edges of the moon. Marvelous.
                              
                              So, what effects from those planets are you referring exactly?

      actually at astro.com they have a comprehensive daily horoscope that is calculated from your whole natal chart!
      
      from the looks of my chart (and this may apply to you as well, pani, i don't know) it may SEEM on the surface that things are not working to your advantage but there is a lot of working being done under the surface--keep perservering through the conflict and the discontent and your roses will soon be in full bloom.
      
      and i do feel my spirits lifting a bit, even if my situation hasn't changed.

   Really? Every horoscope I've read for Leo lately seems to be telling me that the only thing I should look forward to is Valentine's Day. Other than that, this month will be highly unsuccessful.

    Astrology has a place in psychology as does religion  and any other myths. The greek gods, the ancients all contribute to understanding the human mind, but to attribute "fortune" to it ignores the plight of others, and I feel that is worth pointing out.
