I earned a load of money by just writing stuff!
It goes to show if you put the work in or lie through your teeth - you too can make money.
If you want to know how I did it then send me some money or read my crap.
I will change my profile picture to that of a young lady very soon.
While I'm skeptical of your spammy business plan (LOL), I heartily and sincerely congratulate you on your earnings! Your hard work and dedication as a writer is definitely paying off-- literally!

I wanted something funny to say but am too depressed
Mark, We ALL love YOU. I especially love your avatar, it sooo cute! You are such a sweetie!
Can you draw German stick figures? That might make a good profile pic. (Please note my last name - that's the only reason I am asking. Honest!).
I can but only for $235. Got to make some money this month - it's been a bit short.
The only German I have to hand is an Adolf Hitler. Not sure about posting it.
Put me down for $5 - I will forward it to your PP account. Can I get one of the old Adolph magnets, just for starting the collection?
I sort of miss the Famous Dictators Collection you were going to start last year. I even cleared a special spot off of my refrigerator for it. You can easily get the remaining $230 you need if you unload that excess inventory.
Ah Marcy - I had forgotten that! Thanks for reminding me.
Amazing that all these stats are from 2011....is it not 2013 now? Lol.

Oh...that's your other account. Sorry for the earlier confusion.
Hey! You got your own thread. This is my chance to make the big time.
HubPages' Success Stories
http://hubpages.com/success/
Red ink, now this. Ill never be successful on Hp's until I learn these magnificent tools!
Lol Marcy. Anyway I'm back.
edit: Save it Beth.
Im pretty sure that's British for "How's your day?"
I just meant save the cutting remark - nose too small, etc.
Cutting remark? Did you think I was making fun of someone? I was just joking that I don't know how to do all the tech stuff that everyone on here seems to know how to do.
I don't know what "nose too small" means either.
No. I meant that I had changed my profile pic and you might make some comment about it.
Hi Mark
Love your style. I've been writing crap here for just over 1 year now and didn't realize that we get paid.
Where's my money?
I lie through my teeth on every article. Well that's not really true as I don't have teeth anyone and I'm short on hair to boot.
I'm really a single, sexy female and not an over the hill redundant mechanic.
I'll happily sell you my pic or would that be solicitation and against HP rules. I don't really mind though as I like to break the rules.
Well done and "nice little earner" as we would say here.
I'd stay a while and chat, but I got to go and read some crap by someone called Mark Ewbie, LOL.
MJ.
Ummm. Someone sweetly let me know that my name was being used in a post... I don't know what this is about, I don't have time to read it all the way through to understand. I have never lied about what I made. Back in the "glory" days i was making quite a lot of money from Google and Hubpages program - well over 1500 a month just with those and not counting Amazon and eBay.
Of course now I am thrilled when I hit close to $300.00
I hope this helps. I will be happy to answer any questions... or take screen shots of old charts if necessary. And, if I totally misread this in my skimming please chalk it up to writing 30 articles for a client in the past 3 days... have a great weekend.
Prove your claims.
As Mark says in the OP: "It goes to show if you put the work in or lie through your teeth - you too can make money. If you want to know how I did it then send me some money or read my crap."
PS- Screenshots are no evidence, dear.
Mary, you were in no way being doubted. Especially those of us who have been here for a while. It sadly came from someone that we feel is being less than honest about their success at HP, and used you as an example of HP success stories.
We know you're an HP superstar.
Let's call it a HubPages Has-Been... Is anyone making real money now? I'd like to read what they are writing. Real money = $1,000.00 per month or more
Marye (I apologize for misspelling your name in that first post),
I'd love to find one of those myself....I just reached payout for the first time in 2-1/2 years. It made me smile, but I most certainly could have used $1000 a month SEVERAL times in those last 30 months.
You couldn't prove your claims, could you?
Ditto! Marye is the SUPERSTAR of all superstars at HubPages. She is a LEGEND!
Mind Explorer,
I can only give you images of my account. There really is no other way, and I have learned that people who wish to think the worst of you invariably will. There are those that believe the Earth is flat, after all. So, these screenshot are not for you but for those who trusted me anyway.
Enlarging isn't working... so I guess I will do a hub later on.. I really would like to put an end to the questions once and for all
Do you want to say, that these slimy (and grossly edited) images somehow prove that you used to earn $3800 per month?
You know. You win. I have put in 20 hour days for the last week. I have tried to be upfront and honest with everyone. Yes I edited the images to black out personal information. I took them with my camera of my computer screen. That represented what I got from Hubpages program only, not the Google or affiliate income off of my hubs.
I also added larger screen shots to my hub, How to Make Money with Crafts. Scroll to the bottom. Other than that there is really nothing I can do. I have better and more profitable things to do today.
You're not going to get anywhere, Marye; this troll isn't interest in what you have to say. Only in spreading dissension.
Look, how the company has arrived to save the ship from sinking. Well, Marye Audet, all you have provided here is only words and a few pixelated images.
You couldn't prove your claims. Sorry.
::::slouches off to throw herself upon a sword in response to such public humiliation and dishonor::::
Can I have your hubs? I can use another $300+ per month...
I'm leaving them to science. How about an autographed copy of my book?
I believe you, Marye. I have been here for 2 years and have watched your success. You are an inspiration to all serious hubbers.
Marye,
I'm surprised you made such an effort to defend yourself. It would not be much of an exaggeration to say ALL experienced hubbers here recognize your achievements (in HPs heydays), and your trustworthy reputation.
I know - because on my original HP account, Appletreedeals, I have been here over four years, and been trying to steal your stuff for at least 3 years 10 months - alas I am not talented enough to mimic your style, and must be satisfied with seeing you turn simple stuff into winners - like "How to make friendship bracelets" - who would have thunk it?
Now go back to work and let the trolls play.
GA
LOL! I have a fear of being called a liar and will usually do anything to defend myself. It is an OCD thing.
You know a lot of us are behind you, Marye-- and I mean that in several different ways:
We follow you, we love your hubs and we wish we had thought of your subjects before you did.
yep. I remember MaryE when I first started publishing here, She was one of the most successful Hubbers here. To make it short, I remember email messages with Mary who gave me some tips, a realistic view, such as how many articles it takes to even begin to see an income, etc, etc, etc.
Of course, traffic and income has dropped for many sites like this. But there are those who continue to be successful, even if their income has dropped as well.
Gosh, I wish the trolls would find something better to do with their time.
Marye, what you earned then and what you earn now is your private business. You shouldn't have to feel obligated to reveal your earnings just because somebody else has got a thorn up their rear end about it.
Save your energy for what you do best, writing, and having a great life.
In other words, does it mean that she is free to lie, and we are free to accuse her?
Klush has gone to the bottom of the bayou. Even the most naive of users can see that Tinkerbell, is in fact, a shape shifting lizard.
You are played out.
There is only one thing left to do: hiss at the audience and say, 'HAAA I am not done with you yet!' then do your best Vordemort cackle of evil before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Auvoir, mon petit arachide...
"In the Name of the Father,

Amen.
Most glorious Prince of the Heavenly Armies,

against the rulers of this world of darkness,
against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.
Come to the assistance of men whom God has created to His likeness
and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. " [Eph., 6:12]
It means you should mind your own business.
What people choose to disclose is entirely up to them.
Come here and give your advice-
"Earned $234 last month from HubPages!"
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/113281
Little girl... is this fun for you? Perhaps you should invest your time in perfecting your craft?
It's not fun, hun. What I have been doing here, is defense. I am defending my right to post my HubPages earnings.
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/113281#post2413385
I've done my best to ignore this thread because I feel bad that your parents dropped you on your head and told you that you weren't special. I couldn't help but get involved... you know, saving humanity, one little lonely lost girl at a time. I'm sorry you were dropped on your head; but you are certainly special and never forget it!
If you feel humiliated, that doesn't necessarily mean that you should start blathering.
Meanwhile, I feel sorry after getting such an insight into your mind and your past.
I'm sorry pumpkin, humiliated from what?
I apologize for the delay; I was attempting to find your parents.
Don't you have things to see and people to do?
You're so pretty and I can't even see the damage to your head!
What? You dyed your hair? Uh... I liked it better blonde pretty girl. Hey... look at that; we both have a new friend now! This is going to be a good day; I'm so excited! Thank you for being my friend!
What a beautiful family you have; 'course I'm not surprised ;-)
You should bear in mind Mayre, that MindExplorer1 is the latest guise of a long term troll, who makes as much mischief as he can here. Don't imagine that pic in the avatar is real.
I know Will, and I don't think the pic in the avatar is real. I know that it's a troll. I also know that I have been questioned so many times about my honesty in that matter. I didn't seek out the success stories thing...they asked me to do it.
My images and argument are more for the sake of the people who have wondered if it was really true after having seen me be attacked so many times. So, now there are images, albeit bad ones, for anyone who wants to see the only form of proof I can provide.
Anyone can provide (I mean, make) those 'only form of proof' that you have provided.
PS: Added with the only form of courtesy that is on display from your side.
Marye, those of us who have been around for any length of time know you've had great success here at HP. We don't doubt or question you, not one bit. And like someone else said, if HP didn't know you were that successful, they wouldn't have put you up with the success stories. So, please take heart in the fact that legitimate hubbers don't need you to prove anything to us.
Marye - it's good to see you, and yes, you are still a hero and legend here. Just because the Panda Frenzy changed the game here doesn't mean you lost your place of honor as a role model and success story. And great person. You deserve the best - I hope everything you are doing here and elsewhere turns to gold for you. Truly, I do.
I am a cynic. A miserable vindictive cynic who rarely takes anything at face value - particularly on the internet.
So how come I believe Marye Audet unconditionally and yet the 'other' poster stands out as a fantasist at best.
'Thing'.... whatever your name is... you need to upgrade your act.
Marye, I very much doubt that any hubber over two years old would even think to question your success. Anyone from back then is probably well aware of the earnings that were possible.
And for newer hubbers - I've never understood what would be gained by lying about ones earnings here - it's not like they work for Hubpages. And if it were fake, why would Marye admit she's earning only a small percentage of what she used to?
Trolls are people who either know it's true and simply want to pick away at successful writers because THEY can't emulate that success. Or too new to remember Hubpage's golden times of earning.
@ Marye, you have nothing to prove or to defend. Bottom line is that HP know what you were earning, therefore they would never have included you in the 'success stories' if you weren't earning that. At my peak I was earning over $700 per month, and I didn't write sales hubs like many did (which was where the big money was). Those of us who were here for 5 years or more know what you earned has to be the truth. As you know, to earn those sorts of figures now is incredibly difficult.
I drilled holes in the floor of the club, and it's sinking.
You always give me such a clear insight into the way other people see things, Beth.
I hope my comments don't go over your head Will... Let me know if you need me to dumb things down. I'm pretty good at that.
I'm about to watch the climax of Hemlock Grove. I don't need any help dumbing down, by example, or otherwise.
Is the girl with the big eye the werewolf? Or is it the clinical psychologist under the spell of his seductive but deadly sister-in-law?
I'm aquiver!
Ive never heard of that show. I can't offer you any insight.
Oh, it's an American show. I'd no idea. I'm not a fan of horror.
I'm emailing your responsible adult a note of congratulation. The show's morals are dubious on every possible level.
I see you haven't visited my hubpage. You might want to hold off on congratulating anyone yet.
I am relatively new here at HP and read other hubbers' hubs as a way of learning what works and what doesn't work. I clicked on your hub page and learned that you do not have any hubs published. Perhaps I am looking at the wrong hub page. Just want to learn the secret for your success. How much have you earned per month prior to this success? I am considering signing up for Ad Sense.
How can you see that? I don't know how to look at anyone's stats.
I did have every hub published until today when I received the news that 5 of them were pulled... and two of them, although published, have had ads disabled b/c HP's didn't like the content (Deluged and Cellular attraction.)
I have yet to make my first payout and when I do, I doubt it will be a notable amount. I'm probably not the hubber to ask, being fairly new to this myself. I wish you the best here though!
Hey Mark....
Taking this in the serious context in which you started it;
I made $235.50 so I beat you by 50c...
I'm not telling porkies - honest!!!!
(What are these $ things anyway?? How many to the pint??)
I'm looking for to transcend the '$3800 per month' figure, dude. It'll take time to plan out.
He/she has already brought her hubber score up like 30 points. You ask too much, Mark.
"HP's didn't like the content (Deluged and Cellular attraction.)

What did you have to google to find a picture like that?
"Unattached mostly red human centipede but not like the movie please don't give me results from the movie"
...it's mostly in the mind, you know. linked with idiocy.
Im afraid my score is gonna suffer, but you appear to be straight up nuts. Is that a possibility?
I've never met someone who reveled so much in complete lunacy. Props to you. I guess if you're going to be completely off your rocker, have fun doing so.
You have to admit, the speed alone with which she provided such an aptly chosen pic was mind boggling.
And she changed the picture? I have no idea why. Seriously though, this person reminds me of all the mentally ill people I used to volunteer to sit with and read to in the hospital. They were charming people, but some of them could become the oddest ducks in two seconds flat...
Hahaha, no...American born and raised. But I watch a rather unhealthy amount of British television. I do get to go to London for the first time next week though...hopefully I'll fit right in.
You can't possibly be 19 years old. You have far too many hubs and life experiences. Maybe you should just stay home for a few years and play some video games.
Hahah, I'm flattered. I just can't sit still and I've been lucky enough to have traveled a lot and been exposed to a lot of different things. But I swear, I'm 19 and despite the rumors filtering through Hub comments, I'm just a teen who is still prone to immature comebacks, giggle fits and Netflix binges. But if you think it would help, I have no problem playing The Sims 3 for a couple of years.
Beth & Shanna11: Don't answer...........ignore. It is best to not respond.........ignore, ignore........You ladies are good writers and better than the person in question.
I swear I always tell myself "Shanna, you're almost an adult. You know this person is a troll. Don't respond because there is no point in responding" every time I see one of these types of posts.
But I always do anyway. =/ I'm a lost cause.
I spose we all have fun our own ways.
Im off to work. See ya.
It's funny to see you both somehow relate to that picture so much
....Now! What does this one mean??!
I'm not going to lie, I have no idea what you're getting at here with that image. What is your point? What do you mean?
She might be referring to "sin" but the msg. is a little veiled.
Yeah but what sin? The weird sin in The Human Centipede? Our sin of not believing her? Original sin? Like, I really just don't know. Specificity is a beautiful thing.
Perhaps you should better describe this phrase, would you? And please try to find a reason for putting it up there without any reason.
"Unattached mostly red human centipede but not like the movie please don't give me results from the movie"
http://hubpages.com/forum/post/2412809
Unattached? Mostly red? Human centipede?
But not like the movie? Please don't give me results from the movie?
Shanna11, you've stepped in the wrong venue.
Wrong venue? Is this a movie theater or something?
I was merely joking that the phrase was something you could have searched to find that picture, and I was being silly about it by including an awful low-budget movie that the picture vaguely brought to mind.
Okay. Your turn. Explain your meaning.
I thought I explained this already.
It doesn't apply to the larger topic of the thread. It applies to the picture you had originally posted (which you then changed after I commented) of a bunch of people crawling on their knees. If you'd seen the movie (I recommend you don't), it features a similar setup of people and I was reminded of the movie. I was joking that you had to google something related to "The Human Centipede" to find such a picture because the picture seemed originally a bit random to me.
Any further questions? I think that's fairly clear.
I didn't change any picture, Shanna11. So, it's fairly clear that you haven't clarified anything (apart from your dislike for a certain movie).
I still want to know how does that movie apply to that picture.
"Man, your psych ward really needs to monitor your computer time a little better... " because Shanna11, your logical faculties are affected at an incredible scale. You spent a good deal of time on a picture, that wasn't even there!
You might even manage to see a ghost for real, someday.
The second one is far worse. If you do manage to finish the first one, once you have seen the second one you won't even mind the first.

I have had quite a success writing online. I have been writing for HubPages for three (3) years now. My real account has suffered heavily, and I'm trying to fight back. I tried Wizzley, but it was unsatisfactory.I believe HubPages is recovering. I got $234 last month from HubPages. I thought of...

So how can you do it and what do you think you will be earning after like a couple of months?
by Holle Abee 12 years ago
My September earnings on HP amounted to more than $1,300. That includes Adsense, HPads, and Amazon sales. IF (notice - big if) this continues, hubby will be able to retire soon, which has been my goal all along. Last November and December, I think I made around $1,200 for each of those months, due...

Prior to last month my idea of promoting Ebay was to stick an Ebay capsule at the end of my Amazon hubs, I made about $10 bucks a month doing that.So my first lesson was you want to make real money from any affiliate program - including Ebay - you have to design a hub to promote the products and...

Anyone else seeing double earnings this month compared to last month?Halfway through this month I've made $3-something, compared to $3-something for the whole of last month - with the HubPages Ad Program. Although I'm not complaining of course, I do find it a little odd when so far this month I've...
