   Yep, been here for a full year it says on my profile.  I must say, I've enjoyed myself immensely and learned a heck of a lot in the process.  Along the way I've met some great people and a few jerks too.  Mostly harmless jerks, though!
   
   It is true what the "old timers" say about being patient for the results.  I write for the enjoyment of it mainly and don't spend much time with backlinking and such, but still I am impressed with the money beginning to trickle in.
   
   After my experience with other content sites, Hubpages has impressed me more than ever with the many helpful members who gladly share their knowledge with others here.   
   
   So those of you who write mainly for the money, do not be impatient.  Whether you do well here or not is up to you and the efforts you expend on your hubs.
