Should all my writings be, kinda, I dunno how to put it, related? I've written mostly about things that I like, tech, movies, Football, and health care... should I try to limit myself to "mostly this" or "mostly that" until I generate some sort of traffic?

I'm thinking that if I write about health care for example, people would say "Oh, that was good, I wonder what else he has a view on" and look for more health care articles. I may be thinking too much, lol but it's just a thought.

I'm not sure if I'm going to answer your question, because believe it or not, it comes down to how organized one is and their reason for being at HubPages.

Should you feel to write about anything, I would think that you could write related articles, so as long as the content is original and not a duplicate of another hub.

I've post 62 Hub so far and I have 13 dedicated so far to my poems, I have about 12 or 13 photo hubs of different celebrities and young models and then I have my life topics and knowledge & education articles, mostly related in some manner, which consists of the rest.

So, I hoped that helped. smile

It does. So how do you organize? Do you mean as far as putting things correctly in their categories?

My goal isn't just to make money. Everything I write about has an interest to me, so my goal is to spread my knowledge (or lack of it) to others.

I put Amazon affiliates in most of my hubs, in hopes that I'll get a sale or two, but if they don't, it's not that big of a deal. smile

Well, at first I was hugely motivated and now, I'm learning even more, because I continue to read hubs by some of the other hubbers.

Here are a few hubbers you could check out:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Rank-Your-Hub-I … ch-Engines by Lissie
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Improve-Your-Hub-Earnings by Relache
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Free-Backlinks by LivewithRichard
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubpages-backli … or-Dummies by Sandra Rinck
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Get-Website-Tra … -earn-from by Sunforged

Each will give more information than you can take in at any one given time. Do not rush your work and always be open to criticism. It will help you to improve your writing.

What topics you pick is completely up to you, within reason, the TOS for HubPages and GOOGLE Adsense is that there cannot be "mature" content on the Hub, so no porn or sexually explicit material.

Your hubs will be stripped down and not published until within guidelines.

On a last note....how I do things is irrelevant. Always correctly place your topics. Remember, sometimes a hub can be part of more than one topic, so you have some latitude with where you categorize it.

Oh, btw- the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread - link: http://hubpages.com/forum/23

Inside that thread you can post a few links and get them checked out by fellow hubbers, critiqued, so you can improve your quality of hubs. I'm not saying you don't know what you are doing, just suggesting that more veteran hubbers might point out something you had missed.

Welcome to HubPages. Hope you enjoy your stay. smile
