What's wrong with this hub?

   Ok, so I haven't been at this very long, but this hub has only 3 page veiws, while my others have an average of 13 per week.  Can someone give me some insight on it?  I may leave it the way it is, but I want to understand why it's lower.

      Nothing is wrong with your content.  Tweak your keywords then submit your hubs web address/URL to search engines.  I have a hub free manual submission to search engines if your interested.  Let us all know how you do.

   I'm not sure anything is "wrong" with it, so to speak. If it were my hub I would add a few more pictures, maybe even a video capsule (if there's a relevant one) to make it visually interesting.
   
   Perhaps it's your approach. The hub is well-written and very informative, BUT you're not really telling most people something they don't already know...maybe you could present it in a new way: add a touch of humor, add in some off-the-wall ideas: (you know...The Sound of Music-esque clothes made from curtains, haha; people will know when you're joking and when you're not). Speaking of which...maybe encouraging parents to learn to make clothes is a good suggestion--you may even be able to devote an entire hub to that (and sell sewing machines and patterns).
   
   You may also want a title that's a little more to the point, concise; perhaps "Save Money On Children's Clothes." I think I might Google "save money" before I Googled "keep costs down" if that makes any sense.
   
   Anyway, I think it's a very good Hub to begin with; you can take my suggestions with a grain of salt; I hope it helps. Maybe you just need to wait and let it gain steam. Best of luck!

      Good suggestions!  I like the idea of sewing clothes, but I'm unsure if that would be cost effective?  Everytime I've made my kids dresses, they end up being more money then I'd have paid at the store...Hmm...
      The Point about the title is a good one too.

         I hear you on the sewing--unless you do it often (i.e., already have all the tools) the initial expense can be upsetting. Now that I think about it, making clothes is probably not cheaper than shopping at the thrift stores...but it is cheaper than say, department stores.
         Learning to sew, hem, take in, and let out clothing though can be a great way to extend the life of children's clothes...but now we're getting into a whole new Hub...LOL!
         
         Cags has some good ideas about the formatting of your Hubs as well...and I forgot to say WELCOME TO HUBPAGES

         When sewing, you really have to pick and choose what is worth making.  I have found that pajamas are more economical to sew than buy, but t-shirts can be picked up for so little it is not worth making them.

   I've reviewed your hub. It seem to be pretty good. However, with that said, I would like to just point out a couple of things....
   
   (a) In your first text capsule, you should spread out your paragraph...it looks bunched together and there happens to be a white space at the bottom, which should be there. It is probably from the result of hitting the enter key, at the end of your writing.
   
   (b) When you put text next to pictures, you need to shorten your paragraphs to one or two sentences, because the words bend/wrap. Plus, the little picture of the boy at the top, should either be at the very top or should be in a picture/photo capsule next to your second text capsule.(this allows for prime real estate of ad, which is directly opposite of your first text capsule.)
   
   (c) Your keywords/tags seem to be okay, very general, but will work. However, I would like to share a few Hubs with you -

   You have been given some very good suggestions here. 
   
   Getting the right keywords in your hub is one of the most important things to attracting search engine traffic.  Try the Google Keyword tool:  https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
   
   I think the biggest problem with the article is that is common knowledge.  There is nothing new in it for people who have had children for a while, and it is the type of thing one learns on their own or from friends. 
   
   Most people I know, who search for cheap kid's clothing, are searching for top brand names and designs, at reasonable prices.  A friend of mine purchased a bulk load of boys clothing off of EBay for $1,000 and outfitted her boys for two years (about 3 sizes worth) in top of the line/designer clothing.

   Just a note on the sewing issue. If you find a few basic patterns they can be reused and in order to keep the cost defrayed look for the bargain bin. Often times small children's fabric can be found here and it doesn't take but a 1/4 yard to make a toddler pair of shorts.  Hmmm...I feel a hub coming on.
   
   Other than that the few suggestions that you've already gotten is the only thing that comes to mind with me too.

   Thank you all so much!  I am going to rework the hub tonight, see what I can do.  I am trying to understand the whole adwords thing, so that's a work in progress.
   I do sew, have all the stuff, but it still seems more expensive, but maybe that's because of WHAT I sew...

   Im with mailxpress with this.  I think you need to submit to search engines and tweak your keywords using the adwords tool...

   I wanted to add something.  I love how diverse this site is.  Some people have said that the content is ifnormation everyone knows, some have left comments that it's good advice.  I love that I can get ideas and feedback from people in different stages.  I will say, I learned about clothing my kids along the way.  No one told me about any of this, so I found out on my own.  I wish someone had Maybe once I tweak it some, it will be better and help out a new mom, because helping someone, even one person, is my goal for most of my hubs.
   Anyway, I really really appreciate ALL the advice and the time you all have given me

      It's nice to ask but generally most don't mind. It is a link to them and who in their right mind would refuse a free link? I generally link then send them a note via hubpages to let them know then if they want me to take it down I do, no biggy.
