    Hi friends

Why should one resort to speculation about Buddha? Why could not Buddha leave something in black and white? Did he not know reading and writing?

Muhammad did not know reading and writing; even then under guidance from God; he adopted measures of conveying the Word of Revelation from God Allah YHWH to reach us in pristine form, in verbal as well as written , down the ages.

I love Buddha and Krishna as I love Zoroaster and Krishna.

    Thanks

Quite right Usmanali - what utter nonsense. Surely God knew that English was going to be the dominant language - and if he did give us a message - he most certainly would have put it in English.

It makes no sense that he would have given it in Arabic - when almost no one speaks Arabic.

And surely Video would be more appropriate to this age? Where is the video.? Exactly. Not encouraging me to believe in an all-powerful being. Good point Usmanali.

I do not love dead people I have never met. I do love genuine facts though.

      Peaceful Atheist.

That is a lie, you cannot "dictate" to an illiterate person.

‘Ummi’ not only means ‘one who cannot read and write’ but also means ‘one who does not have the knowledge of the scripture’ smile

Buddhas message is still around juts like Muhammads .

Muhammads job was to put this message together in a book ,thats how his knowledge will pass on.
Then I have read the Holy Quran and I dont believe the great Muhammad said some passages from it, they are just too hard, not his style he was for religious tolerance.
Buddha traveled and spread his knowledge.

Dont question or rather put down  the ways of the prophets paarsuurey its not very wise of you.

        Hi friend mohitmisra

I don't question the ways of the Buddha; I question the ways of the Buddhists and the Buddhism. Like I question the ways of the Present Christians and Christianity, but I don't question the ways of Jesus.

It should be very clear; it is not difficult to understand.

We do not want the religion to grow larger than the thing/person that it is said to represent.

As John the Babtist said after Jesus began his ministry...
As Jesus increases; he was going to decreese.

As the importence of the establishment of "religion" becomes more important,in the mind of the people; the importance of Jesus became less important.

If  A muslum becomes MORE angry when a person insults Islam than he would when their god is insulted.
IF  Christians can become more angry when their denomination is insulted than when their God is insulted.

Who would you say is greater in their hearts?
                 Their religion or their God?

Been busy, as I embark upon this damn thing called agriculture, this year.  ...Lots of plowing and digging, but nothing new, except for the fact I have more land this year - since I recently moved to a different area.  The ground is tough and I have seeds to plant...  Damn, that sounds about as hard as trying to convey a thought via a forum platform.  big_smile

I genuinely think we should stop reading and writing and learning and just wait till God drops some CDs from the sky with all world knowledge and wisdoms, so we do not deviate into wrong paths and heresy. By the way could somebody tell him to drop a new computer too, mine kinda old to hold the world's wisdom. Or is it that I am asking too much? I do not want to sound too greedy.
