Hi Pro 1. I have to warn you, your hubs are apparently copied and pasted from other sites. Now that content may belong to you, I do not know, but you have been here such a short time, I would hate to see you run into problems, especially since it is all about going green.

I hope you haven't paid for one of those programs that teaches you to write for Hub Pages by copying or purchasing content. Your work really needs to be original.

thanks for the warning, faybe, but my content is all original, written by me, not purchased from anyone

I am sorry Pro 1. You need to do better research. You cannot improve mileage using water/hydrogen converters. Not one of the hundreds that have been tested have helped fuel consumption at all.
My sources? The EPA and knowing what all decent motor engineers know. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL IN ANY WAY!

    The links are here.

I was glad to see the 'go green' theme-- but was also put off by the water/fuel hub. I have not seen anything else to support this, except the people who are selling the idea.
      More documentation needed, perhaps?

It simply is a fraud. The EPA is on to it. There have even been arrests.
Any 1st year science student can debunk it. It breaks the first law of thermodynamics. smile Also I have been selling 4/5 gas analysers for years. The tests are all negative. One guy online will give you 1 million dollars if you can get 1 mile per gallon. No person has taken his money!
Honda or Yamaha who are leaders in cylinder head technology would pay ten times that, but their best engineers can't do better than they are now.
This is immoral, takes money from people under false pretences and is probably illegal as well. It is in my country.

Pro 1 took that hub down. I had checked and the three hubs looked way too good for someone so new. I found the content of all three to be largely copy pasted from other sites. Now the work has been rewritten on at least some level and the water car is gone.

Faybee thank you sweet woman! I am glad it is gone, and it is a plus to know that our new hubber is learning to check things, I wanted to say welcome, but integrity to what is known comes first. smile Many thousands of people delude themselves they work after they buy them out of the fear of seeming foolish. A suburban legend sort of thing which helps people sell them. I have never had a decent reply from any of these shams.

faybe ... "Too good for someone new" ?  Please provide the links to these supposed sites from which my content was allegedly copied, so I can follow up.  I do not belong to any other writing sites, and have yet to visit any of the sites recommended here for backlinking, other than "folkd"

earnest ... while I appreciate your having pointed out the scam to me -- and while I immediately reported it (along with credible citations I found on my own) -- I did not appreciate the manner in which you went about slamming me in an open forum (here, and in the hub comment section).  My email link is accessible, and while I may be new here, I am not new to generally acceptable rules of etiquette and civility.

to everyone else, thank you for your welcoming posts.  I do not, however, feel very welcome and doubt I'll be spending much time here (other than to read, as I've been doing for some time now).  It is not the fault of the majority of you, but rather the allegations of plagiarism, etc.

FYI:  I have a doctorate and I am a professional, though I didn't publicize this in my profile.  Due to a severe injury, I am stuck at home now for an indefinite period of time and thought this would be a good way to "stay connected", keep my mind active, and even make a few bucks eventually.  If my hubs were "too good" for a newbie, perhaps it is because I am educated, I know how to write, and, more importantly, I know how to read.  A wealth of information is provided here, in the forums and the hubs, teaching us "newbies" what we need to know.  It is not my practice to jump in, blindly.

That I made an error in posting the water/car hub made me angry with clickbank which holds itself out to be credible, and tells us we can sell those products in good faith.  This was THEIR fault, not mine, as I did research the issue.  But, unless the word "Fraud" or "scam" is put into the search term (which I wouldn't have initially considered), up comes more "supportive" data and testimonials.  This is why I appreciated Earnest's notice, but not the manner in which he went about doing it.

So, again ... Thanks to those of you who intended to simply welcome a new hubber.  It truly was appreciated.  Perhaps I'll run into some of you on your hubs, etc.  Otherwise ... ce le vie.

One more comment:  Faybe: My work has not been re-written.  Other than an edit to add a link to other hubs (including at least one other hubber), the content is exactly as it was originally posted.  But, yes, I did delete the water/car hub after doing my own additional research.  You've worded your post to make it sound like I plagiarized another author and then went back and changed things.  I am insulted by your comments and, frankly, am blown away that you would "welcome" a new member this way.  Again, wouldn't a private email have been the better approach, if you truly believed I was guilty of breaking the law?  (TOS is important, obviously, but in my opinion, breaking plagiarism laws is MUCH more critical.)  If this is the practice of this community, it is not a community with which I want to be associated.
