If you are looking for the latest information about Lego Superheroes minifigures then you are in the right place. Here we are going to look at release dates, advanced previews, barcodes, prices and find out as much about Lego Superheroes Marvel minifigures as possible. This page will be updated as more news on the Superheroes minifigures is released. But for everything you need to know about release dates, prices, buying online and where to buy from, this should be your one stop source for everything that is Lego Superhero minifigures.

In the summer of 2011 Lego signed a deal with comic giants Marvel. This gave Lego the rights to various Marvel characters and the DC Universe series’. Although there has been no official date for release, it is thought that Lego will release their superheroes line of toys early in 2012 rolling out more toys over time. So now let’s have a look at some advanced previews of what to expect from the toys.

Lego Superhero Minifigures Are Coming

It has been stated that Lego will target three main Marvel franchises, those of The Avengers, X-Men and Spiderman. Lego have also stated that they will release the new Lego DC Universe Superheroes collection and this will feature thirteen well known characters that we are all familiar with. These are said to be Batman, The Riddler, The Joker, Catwoman, Robin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bruce Wayne, Bane, Superman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor. These characters will all be in minifigure form. There will also be characters that you can build, these are thought to be Green Lantern, The Joker and of course Batman.

In the past few years Lego have had massive success with their range of Minifigures so it makes sense that they would move the range along and start bringing out actual characters that we are all familiar with. The range of superheroes over at Marvel gives them the perfect opportunity to do this.

There are rumours that we will see far more characters and minifigures from the DC Universe and in signing this deal with Marvel Lego really do have plenty to be working with over the coming years.

Buy Superheroes Online

As already stated there have been advanced previews of these toys and some have already gotten out into the public. You can actually already buy some of the Lego Minifigures over on Amazon. These are seen as very collectable and very rare items at the moment so the prices are obviously a fair bit higher then what they will be when they go on general release in 2012. So over on the right we have given you a selection of advanced preview minifigures from the DC Universe superheroes Lego set. Snap these up quick as they won’t be around for ever.

When the toys go on general release it will be interesting to see if Lego once again opt for the mystery bags. This is how they currently sell their Lego minifigures. The problem with the first few series of these was that you could actually read the barcodes and find out what was contained in the packet. It is thought that it is unlikely Lego will make the same mistake again with barcodes or dotted codes and that these bags if used will actually be a mystery.

It really is going to be interesting to see exactly what kind of toys Lego brings out over the next few years. These are hotly anticipated and as you can see from the figures for sale on Amazon these really are some wonderful toys and really will capture the imagination of millions of people. The partnership between Lego and Marvel looks set to be a long prosperous one and with so many characters at their disposal the Lego Superheroes minifigures could just run and run. So for now if you don’t want to jump the gun and get in early with the toys, you can just sit back and wait for the general release of these exciting Lego Superhero minifigures.
