Things That Should Be In Fifa 13

Updated on May 18, 2012

What Things Should Be In Fifa 13?

  • More leagues - There should be leagues like Spanish and Italian lower divisions, as well as other countries' leagues like Ukraine and Turkey.
  • Better refereeing - There is so many times where you will go round the keeper and he will just take you down but no penalty will be given. And then penalties are given for the softest foul like if you just walk into the opposition player!
  • More stadiums - Each club should have their own stadium, almost every club in English League 2 plays a generic stadium.
  • More depth to Manager Mode - You should be able to exchange players rather than just buy them. You should be able to get offered the national team job. There should be national tournaments like the Euros and World Cup, cut scenes to the managers reaction to goal, choose your own freindlies and recive sponsor offers.

What Update Would You Most Like To See?

See results
  • Realistic crowd - Currently there is four different fans copy and pasted round the stadium.
  • 5 a side mode – A fun indoor 5 a side mode where you can use the walls.
  • Stadium Upgrades – If you get a team promoted from the League 2 to the Premier League you will still be playing in your 10,000 capacity stadium.
  • Improved offside rule – So there is no stupid things like being offside when the player is nowhere near the ball.
  • Specialities for goalkeepers – There is things like Complete Defender, Midfielder and Striker, so why is there no Complete Goalie.

  • Better commentary – It hasn’t been updated for years.
  • Reactions of the players – If you score a last minute winner in a cup final the players celebrate the same as in a friendly. It should be changed.
  • Make pace less important – At the moment a player like Agbonlahor is one of the best strikers in the game, purely because of pace.
  • Real referees – There should be referees like Howard Webb, and the real referees for the league, rather than fake ones.

I also recon a multiple player manager mode, possibly even a online manager mode where you can compete for results, signings, jobs etc but also loan and sell amongst each other. This option was available on a game a few years back called this is football, i was a lower league side and my brother a top side and he would loan his youngsters and fringe players to me which is similar to partnerships in football. For several seasons we only met twice in cup competiotions but eventually when i reached the premierleague it became one of the best games id ever played, not due to the gameplay quality but just due to the different spin on a manager mode where on other platforms its just yourself vs computer. I know Ultimate team has gone some way to bridging this but it stil isnt the same concept as a dedicated multiplayer manager mode.

Also without a doubt the refereeing is stupid sometimes. iv had stupid offside decisions go against me recently on head to head seasons that cost me a promotion, an offside in which i was blatently 20 yards onside due to one defender being back near his goalkeeper for some reason and several times when they have a player down injured near thier box and i get called offside from near the halfway line

1st. Depends on licenses, so it's easier said than done.

      2nd. Agree.

3rd. Again it depends on licenses/contracts.

4th. They tried the player exchange for FIFA 12 but it didn't work very well so they didn't put it in otherwise it would have been broken. Agree on the rest though.

5th. The crowds could do with a bit of improvement, but because of the hardware of the Consoles it could mean some FPS would have to be sacrificed.

6th. Could be good, not something I would want them to spend time on compared to something like gameplay though.

      7th. Good idea.

      8th. Agree.

      9th. Agree.

10th. The commentary changed for FIFA 12, there were two commentary teams and one of the commentators changed which meant new lines had to be recorded and used, not sure how you can say it hasn't changed in years.

      11th. Agree.

12th. Somewhat agree but it would be tricky to do I think keeping it realistic, but so it can't be abused.

13th. I'm not sure but having real referees could be down to licenses again, I'm not too fussed whether that gets implemented into FIFA 13 though.

More African teams - I want to play the CAN with Gabon! 5 a side is in fifa street, but it would be cool to have it included in fifa 13.
