Handsome Hank was born in 1875 and is still alive today. He's not the oldest man in the world. In fact, he's in perfect health and doesn't look a day over 25. How does Handsome Hank manage to look like he swims daily in the fountain of youth even though he was born in 1875?
Handsome Hank's secret is that he is a turtle.
(Edit: My first answer identified Hank as a tortoise, but Ms. Hill was correct to point out that he might be a turtle. The clues do not say he actually swims every day, only that he looks like he swims every day. Therefore, if it turns out Ole Hank is a turtle and not a tortoise then Ms. Hill deserves the credit.)
Well, I was wondering about that. Do turtles who are sea turtles live longer than tortoises who never swim?
"Tortoises generally have the longest lifespans of any animal, and some individuals are known to have lived longer than 150 years. Because of this, they symbolize longevity in some cultures, such as China. The oldest tortoise ever recorded, and one of the oldest individual animals ever recorded, was Tu'i Malila, which was presented to the Tongan royal family by the British explorer Captain Cook shortly after its birth in 1777. Tu'i Malila remained in the care of the Tongan royal family until its death by natural causes on May 19, 1965, at the age of 188. The record for the longest-lived vertebrate is exceeded only by one other, a koi named Hanako whose death on July 17, 1977 ended a 226-year life span." Wikipedia
Sea turtles live about eighty years.
You were right, Quilligrapher.
(I guess we both think turtles and tortoises are handsome.)

Statements can be tricky. Look for the logic
A 140 year old man? This is interesting if true. Do you have a link?
To the best of my knowledge, the oldest fully documented person was a French woman, Jeanne Calment (spelling?), who lived to be 122 years old.
The man was born in Room 1875, he is not 140 years old.
