This late in the game, you may have to get really creative.
Write and decorate coupon books for your children.
coupons can be redeemed for a ball practice, a skating night, a bowling night, movie night, new dress, an ice cream outing........whatever your teens are into.
Just make it a one on one outing. Teens may be more likely to confide in you, if they are not in the company of their siblings.
I do not know much about the various programs that may be able to help, but I fear, you may be too late in the season with the poor economy.
Best wishes to you........

Have you reduced your spending on Christmas gifts this year because of the economic situation? The news does not seem to be improving, so how much impact has it had on your spending for Christmas? Are you shopping less, or buying from cheaper places, or does it not matter at all?

What kind of gifts make the best Christmas gifts?I want to think - those that are personalized. So many people are stressing about the most expensive gifts but times are hard.
