Should parents buy war toys for their children?

By buying such toys are we not  teaching our children violence? What do you think of this?

Not really. I had toy soldiers and so called war toys when I was a kid and I am not a violent person. I don't even like guns. That doesn't mean I don't approve of people owning guns. I feel that TV and a lot of these electronic games promote violence. Children need good parenting to teach them and guide them.

I agree with you on the point that good parenting is what is important in a child's life to make him/her a better human being. Thanks for your comment.
I also think there are better toys that can be bought in the market and we can avoid war toys.

It sounds cliche but it all depends on the parents, if they are teaching their children good moralistic values then in theory they should be good moralistic people (with a few exceptions).
