Everyday Questions

Updated on March 5, 2013

Hard Times Can Only Make Me Stronger

Do you ever feel that an everyday event has started spiraling around like an out of control whirlwind? Suddenly it picks you up and takes you into a dark funnel of an unstable and careless wrath of destruction. The storm begins to be unpredictable as you lose sight of everything on the outside. Can you be audacious and question its ability to last forever? Are you able to loosen up enough to let it pull you in many directions without breaking you? We can defeat the obstructed view if we refuse to let it take our ability of maintaining pride. Hold on to yourself, it will eventually let go. Sooner or later its fury will be over. Your rival will loosen its grip and then you’re thrown back down with a horrific thud. At this point you must pick yourself up and examine its path. Once you have studied the map, you can determine how you let it take hold. The chaos is innocent, for it has no mind or soul. Forgive the disaster. Will you divest your thoughts of guilt and smile from the inside with honor? Now it’s time to start repairing the damage that you let occur. All of these questions I ask myself are sometimes difficult for me to answer.

Thank you so much chspublish, your comment really means a lot to me. As a new hubber I enjoy learning from all of you and making new friends in the process! From time to time we all encounter these day to day life events that keep our thoughts in an uproar. I try to remember how important it is to know that they are usually only temporary little problems. I’m constantly reminding myself that I am capable of working through each one of them and will gain knowledge along the way.

Hi Lifesparadox, I like your really honest look at things and the feelings that go with that kind of journey. It's only today that I was listening to someone relating the same thing. I think you have very good insight and it serves you well. Good wishes.
