Well... there are many reasons that are a result of not breast feeding, some are they don't like to breat feed, they think the milk formula is better, they hear myths about saggy breats due to breastfeeding, embrassed about breast feeding the list goes on..
Often times it is hard to understand and imagine why others make the choices that they do. However, this skill is one that makes it easier to love everyone, avoid judging, and to remain calm in the face of those different them us. One hot debate is... read more
Maybe they are just selfish and only care about their figure. In my Country, Women are proud to say that they breast-feed their child.
It has all the nutrients a newborn child needs and will make the baby strong against sickness.
Some mothers do this for a month then they turn to formula milk. To supply more if the doctors persist.
We even have sections in the mall where they can breast-feed their babies. And every year in Manila, the largest number of breast-feeding mothers participate for the world-record.
There are a lot of reasons why. For me it wasn't really an option- Layla wasn't latching on and I had problems with my breasts that made it harder for her to latch on, on top of that my milk didn't come in for 4 days. So here I am with a baby that doesn't want to latch, breasts that aren't helping me out and I'm looking for milk that isn't even there, and on top of that I have a newborn baby to take care of. My stress was through the roof, so I had to destress myself for my mental state of mind and I eliminated breast feeding and it made me relax and be able to enjoy my baby. That being said, my daughter has been on formula for 6 months, never been sick and has never even had a negative reaction from a vaccine. I have been sick twice since she was born- she never got it- and her cousin who is breast fed got an awful cold at 2 months. Now everyone says formula is AWFUL and you NEED TO BREASTFEED but my baby is doing just fine and she has never been sick.
Losing weight by breast-feeding According to a popular belief, breast-feeding makes you lose weight rather than put on. "Producing milk for baby takes a lot of extra energy, about 200 to 500 extra calories above what mom needs to maintain her... read more

Recently, the upheavel of women breast feeding their babies, has hit an all time shocker with two women who posed in their army garb with shirts lifted and breast feeding their babies. Do you feel this is a disgrace to the uniform or simply another stink to advert our attention from what...
