How do you stop nails from peeling?

Does this happen to anyone else? The nails on my fingers just keep peeling off. Not like the entire nail, but its like a top layer of them and I don't understand why it does it or how to prevent it.

    Any thoughts?

Nail will peel in layers when they are dried out

You can purchase Botanical Oil from Sally Beauty Supply nationwide or Solar Oil from your local nail salon. Apply to the nails and massage in at LEAST twice daily and always before bedtime.

Oooo ok thanx. I'll try and get hold of something like that as soon as possible. I've spent the last 6 months trying to stop biting my nails, and this is making a mockery of all my hard work!!!

they also peel when they get weak...mine do it too...Hair skin and nail vitamins really do work...i have used them and it makes your nails super hard...but you won't see the results for a long time though since it will take time for the new nails to grow in.
