What toll does your preocccupation with work and internet take on your relationship especially...
with your spouse?
I find it sort of like juggling, but figuring out which balls are made of rubber and which of glass can be difficult. I would say that you need to be very aware of the time these sort of things take away from the time you spend with you spouse. I try to set aside time where i promise myself I will ignore the computer and then I try devote that time to my wife and kids.
They don't, really. There are some times that I have to work when my husband is home, but for the most part I've gotten my work schedule figured out around his so that I can drop it and focus on him when he's not working. However, this might not be possible for all freelancers if their spouses work 40-hour-a-week jobs...my husband generally ends up with about 60 hours a week, more during holidays, so my work doesn't interfere with him at all and actually helps keep me occupied during all the time he's away.
Like MetalLemon, I set aside certain time to work on the internet (I am a freelance writer). My husband uses this time to have quality play and interaction with our daughter. He plays on the internet while she is sleeping.

From experience I know how frustrating it is that my husband is the boss of our family and makes 95% of the choices we face....but I'm also thankful because I have enough to deal with as a SAHM and it's kind of a mental break for me...what do you think?
