Focus on the positive of the situation. Like if its something at work focus on something that is good on the job or look forward to going home. Focus on being thankful for what you have and how wonderful things are deep down. If you focus on what is good in your life the stress will dissipate and you'll be bringing more good things to you.
Talk! Don't hold all your feelings within! Discuss your stressful feelings with someone you trust who will listen without being judgmental or pressuring you to their own point of view. Even if you can't change the immediate situation, talking about it helps alleviate some of the tension you may be feeling. Supplement the verbalizing with something physical: write it out, exercise or hit a pillow.
The ONLY way to handle stress is to RELAX !! Why allow stress to pile on you? You deserve a more dignified living -- you are a human being and have the right to live peacefully. Enough for lecturing !?
Why don't you try brainwave entrainment audios for relaxation -- they are fast, quick and easy. No reported side effects. If you don't know what they are please read the following hub
