For making bones grow stronger in children Vitamin D is needed and to keep bones strong in adult again the same vitamin is needed. All the other vitamins that are assumed to be related to the strength of bones are actually helping the Vitamin D in its function or enhancing the Vitamin D absorption etc.
So the ultimate thing that you need to make your bones strong is Vitamin D. Then there are other factors that activate this vitamin and make it available to the bones

If I am listing vitamins do I capitalize the name of each vitamin? Example Vitamin C with Rose...hips, Selenium, Beta carotene, and Zinc.
