So I don't mean to beat a dead horse or reopen any can of worms (or be inappropriate if that is why the forum was closed). I'm mostly concerned that that particular forum, which was largely ridiculed, wich is quite understandable, addressed a rather serious issue that people don't necessarily know much about. So, here's a few minutes of sex ed for the people who don't already understand why anal sex has the highest risk of disease transmission of Blood Borne Pathogens, which things like HIV (since you don't actually contract AIDS) and Hepatitis C, are
The original poster mentioned that the anus is not a natural environment for sexual intercourse, which is true, largely because of the lack of mucosal secretions (lubrication). This not only may inhibit the enjoyment of the receiving partner, but increases the likelihood of tearing, which is also likely because of the size and direction of muscular contraction of the rectum. When tearing occurs you create an open wound which makes it easier for infected semen to enter the blood stream and therefore increases the likelihood of contraction of the disease. Because the lubrication, size, and muscular contractions of the vagina are biologically engineered for intercourse, less tearing is likely. However, the epithelial layer of the vagina (the one closest to the surface) has a high perfusion of blood vessels and make the ability of pathogens to diffuse across the membrane easier. (IE: I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT VAGINAL INTERCOURSE DOES NOT CARRY RISKS OF CONTRACTING DISEASE. IT IS THE SECOND HIGHEST RISK OF DISEASE CONTRACTION). So, using substantial lubrication, condoms, and taking things rather gentle not only will probably be more enjoyable, but makes anal sex safer. (Lots and lots of lubrication is my personal suggestion)
It is important to understand dangers, but it is also important to recognize the reality of the danger, and know what options are available. Of course the only 100% safe sex is no sex.
*******I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND ANYTHING STATED WITHIN SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AMATEUR KNOWLEDGE TO BE VERIFIED BY A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL********
Nahhh, some people don't know their arse from their elbow
one would hope, but in actuality, its frightening what people don't know about sex, including the sex they're having, which is why I opted to reopen the subject. I didn't want to write a hub because I really didn't wnat to spend the time doing the fact checking and resourcing. But maybe I will, because I honestly think that while joking about sex is fun and perfectly fine, talking about it intellectually is very important. Also, I did caveat at the beginning that this information was for those who don't know anything about the subject. And as to whether or not the knowledge comes from personal experience, I'll say this, I haven't contracted an STD....
So should be safe with a smaller glass, right?
I guess i have to give it a try
Dude...write a hub about it! You obviously have a lot of knowledge about this topic along with some strong feelings regarding it, put it in a hub. I don't think the forums is the place for it.
I cannot help wondering where this extensive knowledge is coming from?
Lol I actually checked to see if there were any hubs on it, there was a real beauty, was gonna post the link but couldn't be assed. But joking aside there must be an opening for this sort of thing
there'salways an opening where you can stick something in !
Yep, there's definitely a hole that this could fill.
The original poster was dressed in a bunny costume and wrote another silly hub about anal sex. That thread was not taken very seriously as this person appears to be a jokester and not a proponent of sexual health issues.
ugh this topic again? Why can't it jsut die? I seriously don't want to come onto the forums and see that kind of title. yes there are good info pertainig to it but instead of posting it here write a hub where i don't have to see it.
You're right we should all back off.
ooops, dropped the soap again
Nope I don't lol nor do I like hearing about it....really don't want the mentals thanks LMAO
Surely that comment warrants a ban , asking a married nice woman if she likes anal sex, damn disgusting if you ask me !
And I thought every girl just loves it...
resorting to elbow I guess
Clearly stated it offended her but you continued, so do hubs ban you for offending her Misha or does that just apply to others ?
It's okay CG don't worry about it. I'll just laugh it off
You will laugh off a guy joking about sticking it up yer bum, nice, give guys a laugh !
Truthfully I don't care what a guy thinks. I have my man whom I love....if someone else is jealous of what I have then oh well. and if they want to try and offend me..they can try but that won't happen because I know the truth. Don't worry CG I let that kind of stupid stuff roll off my back. SO not worth the stress
Are you trying to fight me CG? It's a lost case even before it starts, you are too emotional for this.
totally off topic but woohoo hubby is home with FOOD. lmao me hungry!

Would a sexless vacation/getaway with your mate/spouse frustrate you?For a lot of people there is an assumption when a couple takes a vacation or goes on a weekend getaway romance will fill the air and the flames of passion will burn nightly. Are you one of those people who thinks this way?
