Would you know what to do if someone had a panic/anxiety attack in front of you?

Yes, actually.  I've worked with patients in an inpatient psychiatric unit so this is not uncommon.  It would not be a problem for me if I were to face this in a public place.  And, I've experienced this myself on occasions, so I can relate also, from personal experience.  Good question.
