The birth of my first child when I was 30. Suddenly it was no longer about me and what I wanted - it was about my child and family. It is a stunning event and not for the weak of heart that's for sure.
I grew up the day "my monthly friend" arrived. Now I can't wait til menopause so I can be a kid again. (less hormones) Hee Hee Hee.
Climbing trees and making mud pies and not caring what my hair looked like. Getting amusement for hours playing on a summer hammock, in the middle of winter with my twin sister. Raking leaves into a pile with my sister and jumping inside. So I'm trying to take good care of myself because when my twin and I turn 100 we will still be able to do all those things again.
