What herb or herbs have you used to treat a health issue?
Many people are turning to herbs as an alternative to allopathic drugs. Do you use herbs to treat any conditions for you or your family? What do you use, and why? Do you research the herb before using it?
Garlic-for common cold and gout
Tulsi-for common cold
Ginger mixed with honey-for cough
I take billberry pill for my eye, Fenugreek for diabetes, cinnamon for diabetes, I researched before using those.
I love Milk Thistle for my digestion, skin, and energy levels. It is especially helpful if you have to take medications because it optimizes your liver function. Yes, I do research before i use any herb because I am on medication too. I use ginger, basil, fenugreek and mint leaves in my tea. Cinnamon pills for diabetes,Psyllium Fiber supplement for constipation and also garlic pills which act as an antibiotic.
I research everything lol. I use black cohosh daily to regulate my periods and prevent migraines. I use vitamin E to clear acne (I know that's not an herb, but its a homeopathic treatment) I use lavendar and valerian root to soothe muscle spasms,
