    Anjili:
I cannot say how I would react.  I don't believe anyone knows, for sure, how he/she would react to an unexpected situation/event/tragedy/surprise.

It's easy to say, "Oh, if that happened to me, I would...."

Only those who have been through a situation know the response, for they have been in it already.

I can't say to a widow, "I know how you feel" if I am still married.
I can't say to a person who's son or daughter was killed, "I know how you feel if my son and daughter are alive."

I CAN say, "I know how you feel" if someone tells me child birth was painful, because I have given birth to two kids.

I hope this helps.  Blessings, Sparklea

      Hi Sparklea,
You strike me as a very conscientious person by your response. Your answer was very helpful. I had just witnessed a situation where a wife left her husband immediately he became totally blind. He fortunately regained sight in 8 months.

With total support in any and every way. If this answer does not come to you immediately, then maybe you should consider your relationship.
