What is the best olive oil to buy for medicinal use?
I use extra virgin olive oil for cooking and seasonings such as salad, but I wondered if olive oil used for health, skin, ears, hair should be a less processed oil and would love any info anyone might have on this.
Any all natural brand will work since all of the all natural kind are exactly the same. However I would recommend Extra Virgin Coconut oil over any other oil for skin, hair, or any internal illness. There are many studies coming out showing that it is much better for long term use than olive.
I have a friend who uses olive oil for her massage therapy and she suggests it is cold press, virgin olive oil that is healthier for the body.
I use the olive oil we make on our farm, the organic olive oil, but I believe any organic olive oil would suit the purpose:)
