Can your feet shrink a shoe size when you lose weight?

I know your feet can gain a size or two during pregnancy, but can the opposite be true for losing weight. I recently lost a decent amount of weight and have noticed that all my shoes are loose now. Anybody know?

Good question. I suppose so since you have lost a lot of water weight and such which bloats the skin. Not a doctor so I don't know the technical terms.  Can't really see how the length would change but width, yeah, I could see it making a difference.

Yes but I don't think I had 30lbs of water weight. And my shoe size didn't seem to change when I gained it, which is the odd part. I'm actually a smaller shoe size before the weight gain and loss. I'm totally befuddled by this.

Your feet could shrink when you lose weight.  Body fat is also on your hands and feet.  Based on what you said you already proved it.  While I have not lost enough weight to change my shoe size one of my shoes was too small when I had a swollen toe.
