With the weekend approaching, what is your MOST favorite thing to do to de-stress, relax, & re-set.

Many of us only find time to rejuvenate and relax over the weekend. I think it would be interesting and fun to see what some people out in the HubPages community do with their free time. We might get some new fun ideas from each other.

That picture just about sums it up for me! I like to unwind in a relaxing bubble bath at the end of the day. It leaves me feeling tranquil. The candles and drink just make it even more inviting!

Believe it or not just spending a little time on the Hub Pages does it for me.

I like to get outside if the weather is good and do a good 3-5 mile walk/hike.  Then come home and take a nice hot bath.  Then fix a cup of good coffee and surf Hubpages and the internet.

I find some yoga on the weekend makes me feel idyllic. I suggest do this in the afternoon or you can do this inside. So grab your yoga mat your can find one at a department store like target - find the perfect setting under a huge shady tree, (yard or park) when the wind blows your body and mind relaxes into a stretch also very effective to reduce stress you feel absolutely wonderful after smile

Love your idea! I did a yoga class this morning but doing it outside would be really special, I agree. The only problem right now for me is it's cold sad- But I will be trying this later this spring.

If I can I like to surround myself with good people, but if not just get in a nice quiet room and read.

Reading - one of my favorite too. I also like your idea of being around good people (good energy). Have a wonderful weekend.

It's not a favorite thing, but a combination of things. Sunday for 3 hours is my relaxation and rejuvenation time. First I shower, cleaning and exfoliating with a hypoallergic lotion. (I do not have a bath for two reasons. 1. I am allergic to most bath salts and bubble baths. 2. I hate the idea of all that exfoliated skin floating around me.) When washing my hair, I use a conditioner with extra oils to make my hair silky smooth for the next couple of days. Second, I get out of the shower. Clean out my ears, put some lotion on my face, dress in a nightie with a nice robe and watch a girl movie. Third, while the movie is on, I redo my nails and put lotion on my hands to make them feel soft.
