   Coming home to find dinner, getting out of the car to smell the smoke and knowing my husband is grilling. Cuddling with my favorite book and a warm cup of tea. Sitting down with my family and spending time with them. Crossing through the name of one of my projects that I finished.

   More and more lately, I have experienced joy for no reason.
   
   Unlike the person I was before, in recent days my happiness is not so much about what I am doing, have done, or where I am as about my inner contentment which is not dependent on outer circumstances.
   
   Sure I still have times of being overwhelmed by the input of the day, and experience emotions besides happiness. But I have noticed that the joy for no reason has been increasing, and that brings up a smile even as I type.
